The Cheese-School
As a bird flew away, eight-year-old Sky looked out the window and sighed. "Just one more time, one more!" she whispered. While her stern teacher, Ms. Cloud, turned away, Sky used her talent to transform herself into a hamster and sneaked out the door. She took a deep breath with relief and scurried out to play.
    
The next day, Sky hurried to school as a very fast jaguar. It usually took twenty minutes to walk. Sky preferred not to waste her time. When she got to school, she was amazed.
    
The school was all yellow. It felt and smelt like rubber and yogurt. It was cheese! Sky thought, "It must be my brother again! Why didn't he turn the school into a playground? Oh! Here comes Ms. Cloud! I hope she notices it's cheese."
    
Ms. Cloud didn't notice it. She just said, "Why did you leave without permission yesterday? If you don't follow instructions today, you will get yourself into big trouble!" Sky rushed into her classroom.
    
"If I don't do something, mice will come to eat the cheese. Then the school will be gone!" Sky said to herself. "Ms. Cloud, can I g--," asked Sky. Ms. Cloud was writing NO TALKING on the board. Sky sighed and thought, "I have to help, no matter what!"
    
With quick waves, brown mice ran toward the school. Sky flashed immediately into a cat with orange fur and big blue eyes. She dashed out the door and headed toward the marching mice. "MEOW!" The cat's loud screech frightened both the mice and Ms. Cloud. Ms. Cloud stomped out of the room to scold the cat, which she knew was Sky. She froze in her tracks, noticing the cheese-school . . . and the mice army running from the cat.
    
With a humongous smile, Ms. Cloud welcomed the victorious cat back to her and said, "Thank you, Sky. You are a very helpful student in this school. Your reward is: you can take a break from class today!"
    
"Hooray!" shouted the happy girl. This was the best school day ever!
