Story Contest: A Magical Talent
Janice
Ages ago in a country called Kakakastan, there lived three boys and a girl. They all lived in a small village called Ru-mu-bu. Roger, Tom, and Peter all slept upstairs in the same room in their little cottage on the outside of town, but Janice, the youngest, lived downstairs. She had a strange power; she could pull any prank she wanted and get away with it.
Once seven years ago when Janice was eating her lunch, she saw a goose and thought that it would be hilarious if it came whizzing out of Tom's, the middle brother's, lunchbox. Suddenly it hopped down beside Tom's lunchbox and bounded inside. Magically the lunchbox zipped itself. Janice was amazed! Five minutes later Tom opened his bright blue lunchbox and zoom-out came the goose and smacked him right between the eyes.
Now if you ever look closely at poor Tom, you can see a tiny dent in his forehead right between his eyes. What about the goose? Well the goose just kept on flying until he reached his nest and slept, and he didn't remember that day ever again.
So Janice annoyed her teachers with flying cats, twirling umbrellas, and tap-dancing monkeys. Whenever she wanted, she could erase what the teacher was writing on the whiteboard, fork somebody's yard in Australia, and pull the cat's tail with just thinking about it. She could also use her power to do good things like Robin Hood-stealing from the rich, giving to the poor. She now has a secret underground business to help people with anything you would ever imagine in a silly way. Just yesterday she had a girl who had too much homework, and she erased the homework from her classmates' and teacher's minds and she never had to do it.
So if you have any problems with anything from pranks to too much homework, call Janice.
