Tennis

It is a sweet thing to pratice tennis, my favorite game.
I run after the ball during the drills, they are always the same.
Forehand, backhand, deep and short balls,
I try my best to listen to my coach’s calls.
It is even sweeter to hear the spectators cheer
When I play well, my shots move far and near.
But the sweetest thing is to hit a perfect shot.
When you are just learning, it does not happen a lot.
But when that perfect, magical shot hits my strings
My joyful heart bursts and sings.
