Basically, I had this random idea to make a library in Kyngdom. But not just any random library—the biggest one ever, with a section for Nobyls, everyday people and travelers, animals, students, and so on. I’m not sure if there is something like this in Kyngdom already, so if so, disregard this (though from what I have seen there isn’t one). But it will be similar to Bog+Burrow in that it would be a casual/low-stakes RP, but any kind of character could join, and go there to discuss news and gossip of Nobyls, ask for directions or activities as a traveler, just hang out, read and discuss books (that can be fake or ones that you are writing right now to secretly ask for opinions), discover allegiances, etc.
I haven’t really thought of a location yet, so any suggestions for where it could be would be helpful! And I thought this would be a great place for new people to join Kyngdom and start RPing since it’s more low-stakes, and at the moment, Kyngdom seems a bit quiet, the only active RP being the Nobyl RP currently, though the BIG Academy RP could potentially be revived as well.
I would love to know if anyone’s interested!

That’s a great idea!!! I don’t think there’s ever been one before, and even if there has been, it would be wonderful to have one for our new charries. We should definitely try it :))

Ooh yes, that sounds super interesting! I was just thinking i’d like to get back into Kyngdom – it’s been ages since I made any posts there – and this would be a really fun way to do that!
Maybe the library could just be in a really cozy mansion-size cottage in the middle of the woods, and then lots of travelers could come to it and it could be like a crossroads. Also, if it were in the countryside and more isolated, then BIG and Catastrophe would never come there, so it could be more tranquil and low-key.
OR maybe Bog + Burrow have expanded, and the library is their newest addition? Or the library could be in the palace of a Nobyl who’s trying to help the Resistance – that would mean it could be quite large.
Just suggestions, though:) Anywhere would do really – it’s such a great idea!!

I’d be interested! I like Poinsettia’s crossroads idea–that way all sorts of travelers would be there. Does Catastrophe ban books? If so, there could be a secret printing network based in the library or something like that, and the charries could distribute secret books throughout Kyngdom. (This is just a suggestion; the library would be perfect without a secret printing network.)

I posted it! It should be with the other Kyngdom RPs, titled “Crossquill Library RP”. Feel free to just create new charries or use old ones that are currently inactive there.
@Poinsettia, thank you for your suggestions! I decided to go with the cottage-mansion idea.
@Seadragon, I’m not entirely sure if Catastrophe does, but if so, maybe I could set something up like that in the archives of the library.
