AmethystGuesthave a cuppaI say, mates, let’s have a go at being Brits! It would all be very jolly, don’t you know. Whatever you say on here will automatically be in a British accent – I hit the thingamabob, and now it’s all quite tally-ho – so it’s an automatic sort of thing. Enjoy it, ducks! Ta-ta!

PoinsettiaGuestOoh, this is jolly! Never ‘eard the like before, but it’s quite lovely! Perfectly topping, don’t you know.
-
SinusoidalGuestOf course, I often have a British accent while talking. What is everyone’s favourite colour?

Lightnin' CityHmm… A British thread, you say? Well, I watch more British people than American people (and I am American), so this is the perfect place to practice the British things I’ve picked up.
My favourite colours are purple and black 🙂
What’s that? There’s a duel happening? Well, old chum, let’s go and see what’s going on. (I’m tryin’, LOL)-
AmethystGuestdo you know what we call that in England? A chair! /Dick van DykeOh, I SAY! A duel! That’s absolutely cracking. Dibs on… er… well I say, mate, let’s not worry about dibs shall we?

A Celestial SkyEverythin’ I read sounds like a British accent. Must be the work of that thingamabob, innit? I may not be British, but I enjoy a cuppa just as much. (I am currently having a cup of tea right now!)
My favourite colour is purple, specifically lavender.
Cheers, mate! -
AmityGuestI quite like many colours, but my favourites have to be blue and purple 🙂 I say, it’s very interestin’ to look at this thread. Mates, though I haven’t got a British accent, I’m doing my best. It may be a bit off XD just a bit, y’know. I hope everyone’s having a lovely day!

AmethystGuestfavourites and automobiles and greyI’ve been travelling with two ls, who are the most delightful companions a chap can have~

SinusoidalGuestChums, “mate” is the speech of them Aussies, not us sophisticated Brits. Also, I also fancy a cuppa every so often. Scottish Breakfast is my favourite.
(Also if you microwave your tea like an American I will challenge you to a duel, even mid-cuppa which should never be considered a cuppa)

Lightnin' City@Sinusoidal, what if I make my tea in a Keurig? That’s the fastest way I make tea, but I will say that I do make it on the stove at times. Speakin’ of tea, I’m goin’ to take a taste of this cuppa.
*Sips tea* Mmm, I say, this is the best cuppa I’ve ever had! It’s jolly good, innit?
Anyone want to go play some cricket? Not the CB, but the sport. I’ve never tried it, but it looks like it would make for a jolly good time! -
AmethystGuestI'm in America!@Sine, tea in a microwive?? ‘Orrors! Never! That’s like going out of the frying pan into the fire. I’m on your side if any chap does such a thing.
@Thunder, ooh, yes, do let’s have a go at cricket! Am I up to bat, then? Third inning, whee! (I really have no idea of how cricket is played but I’ll do my best regardless XD)
