The sky keeps being such amazing shades of deep blue in the evenings, right after the sun has set – there’s this clearness to it, and depth, and it’s incredible.

Whee, I finished it at last! It’s very good – it’s a fantasy which is actually readable (*hooray*), and it’s so cozy and booktore-ish besides. The house is endearingly lovable :> And it’s devoid of bad language, which is splendid, and for the most part it’s appropriate (though I advise everyone to skip chapter 28 – it’s not even particularly relevant to the plot – and I’d only really recommend the book for ages of about 13 up). It’s also tolerably well-written, especially in the beginning, and the characters are well-drawn. Its plot is gripping without being too action-filled, and it’s a splendid read for winter. I don’t like a couple of the themes, though…

Anyway, to proceed to plot; it’s about three sisters, the Quigley witches, who run a tea shop in Chicago and read their clients’ fortunes. However, when a curse is uncovered and a strange task is given them, the sisters must reevaluate what they most care about, what they feel for each other, and, most importantly, what fate has in store for them.

– January 3rd was the Wolf Moon, which is what we call the full moon of January! Quite fitting for my CB name ;)

– Undertale 10th anniversary (anyone else a fan of Undertale? don’t mind me listening to the whole soundtrack again-)

This January’s been warmer than usual where I live – which is bad, because climate change, but good because it already feels like springggg :DD

seconding the pomegranates haven’t had them in ages but they are my favorite fruit
on the topic of food i need an unlimited stash or fruit roll ups to get through this month
unfortunately there are no more fruit roll ups i can’t have an unlimited amount i guess
listen to superscar by adela and all my poetry by close your eyes genuinely they make me levitate
gotta stop planning and start writing that novel

Wow, this month is almost over. Time has flown!

We’re about to start researching poets at school and I’m really excited.

I’m going to see LES MIS next week!
