Question of the Two Days

Every two days, I'll post a new get-to-know-you-ish question. I think it'll be cool to see what people think and maybe it'll help get people to know each other better (hence, me calling it a get-to-know-you-ish question).

Question of the Two Days #1:

What word, to you, sounds like a magical spell and what would that spell do? 

My answer is 'solander.' I think it'd provide a warm lighted sphere that follows the spellcaster.

Freedom feels like perfect weather for sweaters. Freedom sounds like flooding your mind with music while lying on the roof to watch as the sky turns from day to night. Sounds like raindrops hitting the skylight in your room. Freedom is the feeling of holding hands with your best friend and watching TV in your basement under a mountain of blankets. It smells like warm bagels and baked goods and the air when it's about to rain. Freedom is creation; creation of something flawed that you can be proud of. Freedom is not having any regrets and not letting the past poison your future. Freedom is loving yourself unconditionally.

Heh heh, I don't even have my permit yet, but that's what I imagine it's like.

I can't wait for my driver's licsensse tests.

This is early again and it's not particulary creative, but oh well. Question of the Two Days #7: what's the thing that's in the forefront of your mind right now? For me, it's the huge research paper that's due in a week that I've barely started...

Jay's one of those stabby compass things. Or maybe a highlighter. Or maybe a highlighter loaded into one of those stabby compass things where the pencil should go.

QotTD#7, early again: what are you scared of, on a short term/long term scale? This doesn't have to be anything serious, if you're not comfortable sharing, of course!

On a long term scale, I'm terrified of being forgotten, like especially after I die but just in general ig. On a short term scale (like something that'd realistically happen to me in everday life, like a phobia ig), I especially don't like people—if I'm in a small room of too many of them and they're all talking, that's awful. I've also been terrified of other people with hot glue guns, ever since some random kid at camp accidentally squirted hot glue across my hand. Now I don't trust people with them at all. Hmph.

Hmm. This is a tough question. Theres a lot of things I'm scared of.

On a short term scale, I'm scared of the first floor stairs in my house, because they creak a lot and I feel like they will either break on me or awaken the demons in the basement who will come and grab my anlkles using the slot between the stairs (it's one of those staircases, the ones with empty space between the steps) and drag me down to the basement to eat my soul.

I'm also one of those people who goes around scultping things out of hot glue with your bare fingers (what can I say? Hot glue sculpting is just really handy, especially when you're trying to do the eye scales last minute on your rainwing mask. Plus, if you lick your fingers first it doesn't hurt as much.), but I'd never accidetally burn somebody because that would be rude.

Oh, and I'm terrified of cactuses. Don't ask.

Huh. I hot-glue sculpt as well—I like hot glue and I have a bad habit of pressing it while it's still hot to get it to cool off faster. I'm only terrified of other people with hot glue guns.

And my friends call me a cactus because I basically never drink water :) and they insist I emit supersonic squeals but I most definitely do not hmph.
