Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board

This RP is

This RP is going to be about the last Power war, and our special little boy king.

Only a few rules on this one.

In the end the Powers and Catastrophe must die. The Powers die in this order:

Cealani, Ayearth, Eico, Sylvia, Lunee, Cellist, Claaws and Catasrophe. Claaws and Catastrophe basically both die at the same time, Claaws kills him, but he was covered in the Brazen goo so Claaws dies too.

The animals of the forest are immune to the Brazen goo, but once the Powers die and some of their Powers find other hosts, those hosts are not so Brazen goo is exiked to be guarded by a village of humans in the desert. This is also by where the Power of Fin is in the caves in the sand.

Rule number two, no changing the Power Origin story.

Rule number three, the animals are mostly not on the Powers side, there are some though who side with them. But no humans side with the Powers. Only Cellist (Ugg! Stupid autocorrect! You all know who I mean by this.), who is a fairy and maybe evolves into a human....we still haven't agreed on this.

Catastrophe is a boy king. So he is the king of Kyndom untill Claaws kills him. How he became the king is still undetermined.

The Powers are guarded by six animals, who are the animals that the Powers could turn into. These animals are evil like Catastrophe and assigned by Catstrophe. Each has a reason of why they hate the Powers. Sometime in the centuries that follow, the guardians forget what they're guarding, only that if they realease the magical creature inside it will reak havoc on Kyndom, and to NEVER let them get activated. This was told by the crow guardian. The guardians also over time forgot that they sided with the humans, and now they are enemies.

Jaaws was hidden in a cave at this time, and maybe visited Catastrophe to make him evil, and maybe ruled Kyndom through him. You guys can decide that.

You can play as any charrie, whether it's your own ancestors or the Powers or Catasrophe or Jaaws, and this will go on all the way untill Catastrophe dies and what becomes of Kyndom after. I will be playing as Claaws, but feel free to add on and be Claaws for this, just post under your own charrie's name so we all do not get confused. Hopefully this will shape Kyndom as we know it, and form the hystory. (Like how I used the y instead of an i like Kyndom? :) :)

The last rule is to have FUN! I will post a comment tomorrow morning.

I hope this makes Kyndom more interesting for all you bored Kyndomers!

I think this is a great idea, and I might have and idea of how Catastrophe became king.

First, I will TOP this. Then I will write.

TOP, TOP, TOP!!!

Now that this is topped I will begin.

It was a quitely peaceful morning, the sun had not yet risen, but the sky was a light black. Claaws stretched indignately and rolled onto her back. Cealani slept soundly next to her and Eico slept on her other side, half in the ground and half out. Claaws poked him playfully before getting to her feet and taking another stretch. Ayearth was also sleeping like Eico, half in half out, with his back half in the river and his front half on the ground. It was a smallish river, the first river you could call it. It was the river that had been connected to their mother, the Golden Flower of Life, and it branched out in all directions, to different lakes, seas, rivers, and ponds. Just a small sliver was in the cave, going out one side to the world. Ayearth preferred the river to get him in and out of the cave, though the others hated getting wet. Claaws spotted Sylvia resting in a bed of flowers, growing so tall that it made it hard to spot her. But this was where she slept every night, so Claaws could spot the spots of white through the green stems. She looked over the Lunee's rock, she normally slept there where she could see the night sky, but other times she preferred sleeping on top of their cave, out in the open where sky surounded her on all sides. Claaws asumed this was that night. She gathered her wings, preparing to sneak out and scare the livings out of Lunee. Just as she was about to leave, she heard a mrow of musement and something landed on her back. She roared in surprise and the weight forced her to the ground. She collapsed, gasping, as the furry creature slid off her back and started to laugh. Claaws rolled onto her back with her wings spread on either side and gasped again. In front of her the devil started to laugh faster. Or the angel. Claaws got to her feet, gasped again, and lunged. She forced Lunee onto her back and smiled. Lunee stiffled a shocked noise and pushed Claaws off. "Even?" Lunee gasped, getting to her feet.

"We are even." Claaws bounded around Lunee. Once, Twice, Three times, as Lunee swated at her.

"So magestic," Sylvia teased as she got up from the bed of flowers. "That noise, what was it? It woke up the whole of Kyndom!"

"That's Claaws for you," Lunee answered. "At least I thought to be silent about it. Claaws decided she would wake up the whole of Kyndom to pay for it."

Claaws lifted her head dignitally. "Nah ah. If I had known she was going to scare me then I wouldn't have been so shocked."

She took a step towards Sylvia, tripped on her talons, stumbled, and fell with a loud grunt. "Sure you wouldn't have." Now it was Ayearth talking. He shook the water from his tail and slithered over to them. Claaws batted Lunee's paws playfully as she trodded over to Sylvia. With a loud bark, she was suddenly on the floor next to Claaws, her wings spread in an attempt to save herself. "Ha! She was waaaaay louder then me!" Claaws pushed the Wolf's paw away before it could kick her snout.

Suddenly there was a squak that reverberated through the air. They all glanced over to Cealani, whom was still fast asleep and was yelling at something in his sleep. Claaws glanced at Lunee, who returned the look and nodded. Together they got up and snuck behind the Gryphon. "One," Lunee whispered. "Two," Claaws whispered. "Three!" They yelled at the same time and launched themselves onto his back. His eyes flung open and he squawked with a noise louder than their surprised sounds combined. He flung himself up and Claaws and Lunee jumped off his wings. He flapped them once or twice, turned in a raging circle, then stopped calming himself down. As he did Claaws and Lunee exploded in laughter. He turned to face them, a sheepish embarrassed look crossing his eyes. "Oh," he said before he sat down and started to laugh with them.

Then there was a growl, a deep angry growl. They all turned to look at the mighty Eico. "You are all acting like kids. We have a Kyndom to run, and you play around like you're the only beings in the world." He narrowed his eyes at Claaws. "Well maybe you think you are, but others do not. Some creatures have a Kyndom to run. Go annoy yourself, Claaws. Leave the important creatures alone."

Eico slithered out of the dirt and revealed his true lenghth. Claaws glanced down at the ground and sighed. Lunee cast a sympathetic look at Claaws before spreading her wings and flying out through the opening. Cealani followed, hiding his expression from the others. Ayearth launched himself into the stream and swam out quickly. Syilva brushed Claaws with her muzzle sympathetically before running off into the sunrise. Claaws lowered her head even more as Eico slithered past, giving Claaws one last disapproving look before burrowing into the earth.

Alone. Claaws sighed, lying down and resting her head on her front legs. The others had Powers they could see. Powers they could see and watch and hear grow. Lunee could hear the senses, watch them grow stronger and the animals more confidant to use them. She could also see the change in the sky, watch the day change to night and night to day. Sylvia could see the life thrive and grow, the animals evolve and change and the flowers grow tall. Cealani could feel the breeze and see the sky get bluer and healthier, and watch the storms. Ayearth could feel the water, see the rain, and swim all he wants. Eico could feel the dirt and stones, see how soft and hard they are. What could Claaws do? Feel her jealousy and ambition grow stronger. Back when they were dragonets she had made volcanos and started more fires than the others could handle. Now only every once in a while she would go out and light ablaze the forest or some unexpecting human. The Powers had seen that she would be at every storm, but now lightning storms are rare and she almost never gets invited to take part in one.

All she can do is wander the forest, stay out of the other's way, and sit in a dark cave.

I just remembered somethings I forgot to tell you.

First Claaws goes into exile in the begining of the war, then is brought back in the middle.

Second the animals they can turn into are these:

Eico: brown badger with a diamond pattern on his back. Ayearth: blue stripped green snake. Cealani: white and gold crow. Sylvia: white horse with a black main. Lunee: gray wolf with white paws, tail, underbelly, tips of ears, and around her eyes. Claaws: black panther with a spot pattern that looks like scales and unusially long silver claws.

Third they can turn into animals in the middle of the war when they need some way to spy. Their code names are their names, because every animal of the forest knows them by Dragon, Clawed Serpaint, Sea Dragon, Unicorn, Angle Wolf, and Gryphon. At the end of the war Catastrophe finds out their the Powers.

How and why this all happens you all can decide.

Also, this is for Icy when she gets back, or Moonshadow, or any of the Power Origin Idea team.

So first, you guys kind of didn't like the idea that Celeste (OMG! Thanks so much admins it worked!) evolved. So I was thinking like the Powers summoned their magic to allow them to transform into a certain animal, Celeste summoned her magic to allow her to transform into a human. And that's how she met Catastrophe, fell in love, and had PowerFriend jr. But in the end Catastrophe found out who she was too, killed her with the Brazen goo, and was about to kill PowerFriend jr when he died. Then maybe she got exiled? And somewhere in there they created two lockets of stone that if someone wore it it would be the cure to the Brazen Goo. Tell me if you all like it!

As Sylvia's creator, I say she becomes a white horse with a silver mane. Okay? I will probably roleplay her later so no one take her. Is this canon with Moonshadow's winning entry?

Of course she can have a silver main. So sorry, just glad you didn't say purple. Also, I was thinking since all the other Powers have something to mark their differences, except Lunee, Sylvia, and Ayearth, that Lunee should have two white spots going down bothe sides that look like white splotches that make an almost winglike look, Sylvia should have a black spot on her four-head right where her horn should go and pail, almost pink, hooves. Finally Ayearth should have his nostrils curl upwards and spikes around his eyes (like in my drawings) if that's not okay with you guys who are being them, can you make something else that symbolises them as powers, but not too obvious. Like Claaws has a spotted pattern that looks like scales, and of course her silver claws, and Eicoi has the dining pattern going down his back, and Cealani is a white crow with a golden tail (and maybe the tips of his wings are golden too. I haven't decided...) and icy, since your back, have you read the post about Celeste being able the shapshift into a human like the Powers shape shift into animals? Maybe in human form she has a blue dress and pail white hair, and blue blue eyes.

Tell me what you think!

My pirate dragon captcha says unrr. Under? Under where? Oh, very funny captcha. You got me.

Two questions, first, can I join? Second, does this take place after or before the destruction of Cypher Labs?

First, of course you can join! Anyone can join! Second, what are Cypher Labs? (Sorry if its something very obviouse and I just missed it ;)

I think it's the organization that Dr. Sheepshank founded, and I'm pretty sure they were the ones that mainly came up with the Cypher (Admins please correct me if I'm wrong, thanks ;])

They came up with one kind of cypher.

The boy's breath came in short, ragged, gasps as he ran, half stumbling over the sharp rocks. They projected suddenly out of the ground, each one a knife for his already cut and bruised feet, casualties of a hard chase. He paused, flattening himself against the rough rock wall, desperately gulping in air. As he waited, his frenzied panting slowly grew quieter though his chest stilll rose in quick intakes. After a minute of doing nothing but leaning limply against the wall, he straightened up and turned his head to each side, inspecting his weak refuge. Though he listened intently, he could hear nothing but his thumping heartbeat. Something snapped. The boy's head jerked towards the sound, already tensing himself to run. Nothing. He wildly scanned the sand dune, trying to find the source of the noise. Suddenly, a wild yell rang out. The boy stiffened, his eyes opening wide in shock. More hoots and cries came as he turned and sprinted recklessly away. He could hear their heavy footfalls now, as his pursuers came ever closer behind him. He darted around a corner, weaving violently around stones. There! A fracture in the rock, barely big enough for him to squeeze through. He ran towards it, the rough sandstone scraping his shoulders as he pushed himself ever farther inside the crevice. Suddenly he stopped, wedged tightly between the rock. The footsteps had paused. Right outside his hiding place. He squeezed his eyes shut, not even daring to look. A minute passed, then another. Finally, he wedged open one eye. A pair of shoes stood right in front of him. No, not a pair of shoes, a person! The rock and his postion prevented him from seeing anything except the leather sandals that faced him. He crouched down lower, barely daring to breathe. Suddenly the shoes spun around and a young voice rang out commandingly.

"You! Split into three groups and spread out. I will find him, and I will make him pay!"

The person marched off, still barking orders. The boy sighed in relief, leaning his head limply against the wall. He could hear footsteps and shouts from outside, but he didn't care. They would probably find him eventually. But for now, he was just glad he was still alive. As the sounds of the group got farther away, he straightened up a little. He was hoping against hope but still -- a scrape of a shoe and a muttered curse from outside made him lean back again in despair. Of course. They had set up a guard to watch the area. Aran was too smart to leave the site unwatched. That and his size was how he had become the leader of the small gang. Aran had always harbored a grudge against the boy and when he was blamed for a crime he didn't commit- well, that was just an excuse to beat him up whenever the gang spotted him. He closed his eyes in defeat, ready to give up. Leaning back, he stretched his arm out, expecting to feel the rough surface of the stone. Instead he felt nothing. Curious, he turned and stretched out farther. Still, nothing. Inspecting the rock, he realized he had poked his arm through a small opening in the crevice, one he had missed in his frenzied scramble to hide. Hesitantly, he extended his arm again, feeling inside. The air was cold with a hint of a breeze, a shocking change from the scorching heat he had always known. He turned to look at the opening to the crevice. The guard was still there. He hesitated, unsure of what to do. He turned to look at the mysterious opening again. A slight breeze wafted through it, gently drifting around the boy. The wind seemed to call to him, whispering of winding passages deep within the Earth, of mysterious riddles, of strange powers waiting, always waiting. Waiting for someone. Someone special. Something seemed to stiffen inside the boy, giving him couarge. Then, he turned and pushed himself towards the opening.
