*Starlight*

She put on her cloak and dashed through the village streets, doing her best to capture as little attention as possible. She went to locate the nearest general store, and eventually located one named Amber's General Goods. Starlight looked left and right before going into the store.

A little chime sounded as she entered the store. She examined all the goods, and picked out a bottle of ink (she was running out), rope, an extra cloak, and some dried fruits and jerky. She set her things on the counter as the chime sounded again. A silvery-haired young man who looked around 18 entered. He stole a glance at Starlight, who quickly stuffed her things in her satchel and headed towards the door. But then he stopped her.

Winter decided to follow this mysterious person, and she headed to the general store. He waited until she entered for a good few moments before going in as well. The traveler spotted him and prepared to leave, but he stepped in front of her.

"Sorry to disturb you, but what is your name?" Winter asked.

"Why do I need to tell you?" the traveler replied. Her voice was sharp and quick.

"It's just that...I know everyone around here, and I've just never seen you before. So I assumed you must be new. And it’s always a neighborly thing of mine to introduce myself and ask for their names. My name's Winter, by the way," he added.

"Starlight. That's my name, Starlight," she said. She stole a glance at her satchel and then outside, and asked, "Are you done now that I've introduced myself? I really must get going now."

"Of course, of course," Winter responded. "Have a good day, Starlight." 

Starlight didn't reply as she went out of the general store. Winter smiled a little as she left. 

I'm fairly sure that this is the first snake charrie on Kyngdom (aside from that one Power)

Name: Hands

Pronouns: she/her

Species: Burmese Python

Age: around three years old, which I'm fairly sure is around 14 for a burm

Personality: rather quiet, but enjoys watching people back away in horror at the 8-foot python slithering into the room. not the best at fighting, but has very sharp teeth. would rather not fight, easygoing. considering joining the Fur and Feathers Association but not sure if one must actually have fur or feathers to join.

Appearance: around eight feet long, tends to 'periscope' to look people in the eye to make conversations less awkward. dark brown scales with black and light brown patterns, kinda shiny. has round, brown eyes and a pink tongue.

Home: nowhere in particular, but avoids cold areas

Skills/Abilities: can open doors.

Ah, okay, I found the comment you seem to have been referring to. I'd simply forgotten; there's no need to be embarrassed but something useful to know about me is that I will not connect two comments from two different threads without any context. Next time a conversation such as this one will smoother if you could just reference the thread I said something on. /neutral; not mad

Anyway, yes, I did mean that I wanted to rp with you, as in have our characters interact. Who do you think should meet?

Name: Lauren

Pronouns: she/her

Species: Elf

Age: 15

Personality: Kind, gentle, and funny. She can be quite wordy, using words that others might not on a regular basis. She doesn't know how to read, given her life away from humanoids, but she is a fast learner and is sure to pick it up quick if she found words. Likes to do things with her hands, and she is slightly anxious. She is brave, as well as adventurous, but she is also VERY causious.

Appearance: Tall and willowy, with sharply pointed ears and long, light brown hair streaked with gold highlights. Kind hazel eyes and full lips, and bright smile. Freakled cheeks and long legs and fingers. Thick eyelashes, but not long, and a narrow face. Wears a dress made out of dark, blue cloth and her legs are bare. She can tie the dress in a way that makes it shorts jumpsuit, and she usually wears it this way. She also has a cloak made out of some sort of thick fur, but it seems to be woven together, as though lots of fur was collected and then made into this.

Home: anywhere where there is a strong, healthy tree, but generally in a forest

Skills/Abilities: Great at anything athletic, and good with bow and with staff. Great with animals of any kind, and can listen to nature and sometimes it says something. Never gets lost or looses direction

Background (you can figure this out as you go, too :): Been alone since a child, making friends with any animals. But she's never seen another humaniod being, and hopes that she's not the only one like herself in the world. Somehow, she'd never come across civilization. Until now :) She's stumbled across a town and is shocked and curious about it.
