Rex

I wake to a sound only a trained professional such a myself would recognize; a door swinging quietly open on carefully oiled hinges.
Saana is awake as well, though it probably isn't the door, since it would be impossible to hear through a screen of Plexiglas. My guess is she's been awake the whole time and has been watching me charge into the wall like a loser and knock myself out.
I look at the wall. It's badly dented. Hey, not too shabby.
Anyway. The door. I glance up and almost jump. Shaia and Skylar are standing over me, balancing easily as the truck bumps over the badly paved road.
"You didn't need to come for me," I say, struggling to my feet, ignoring the throbbing pain in my shoulder.
"Otherwise we'd lose our best criminal," Skylar says, sounding annoyed at me.
"Rex, how could you be so stupid?" Shaia cuts in, her voice sharp as broken glass. "Getting caught that easily."
I jerk my good shoulder in the direction of Saana, slumped in the opposite corner of the truck. "Her. She was there."
It's always hard for me to explain about Saana. With a shared history like ours, nothing is simple. It's all tied up in complicated knots.
Tangles which could mean the difference between life and death.
"We should take her too," I say. "She knows exactly how the villains of this city operate. Whenever we get caught, it's going to be because of her."
Saana starts. I guess she can hear us.
"We have to get out of here quickly," Shaia says edgily.
Skylar glances quickly over my face, as if scanning me for signs of suspicion. She nods. "Get the traitor. She's coming with us."

Um, I'm wearing a mask. You can't really tell who I am. That's the point. Also, in my first post Zandibar mentioned that she didn't really know Gem. She couldn't even remember her name! So it's really unlikely that Gem will be able to recognize a girl she hardly knows.

Zandibar~
I swing the door open slowly, weapon at the ready and look around in disbelief. Both Rex and Saana are gone! There is a large dent in the wall, I assume from Rex attempting to bust out. But the wall isn't broken. How could they have excaped? Willomena touches my arm and I jump, startled. She holds out a peice of paper, saying,
"Look. They left a calling card." I read it. It says:
'Nice try, Vigilantes, but you'll always be two steps behind.
We will always excape. We will always be victorious.
Lots of love!

There's a red lipstick kiss in the bottom corner. I curse and toss the card down.
"How did they get in? It's impossible!" I rant, pacing up and down the room, "How could they break into an armed vigilante vehicle? How? There's no way. No way on earth! Yet they did. How?"
Will'o'wisp watches me silently for a few moments, then says,
"That's not all. I found this in the alley after we rescued Gem." She pulls another paper out of her pocket. I read it, then let it flutter to the ground with the other one.
"What can this mean, Will? We need to find the others."

Y'know, I didn't even realize until just now that I made Zandibar left handed in both figure drawings. I didn't do it on purpose! Guess she's a lefty!

I know, but Gem reconized the shape of your nose and the cheek bones because you were wearing a half mask. Honestly, it's just a thing I picked up in a book.

I stumble into the office, breathless from running. "You're late!" Maria snaps. I sigh, another long day. She hands me my pay and the coordinates to the house we're cleaning today. When I get there, I find it empty. Great, the other ladies quit and now I have to do all the work. I start to work. I'm heading downstairs when I hear a noise. I freeze. Then I silently put down the cleaning supplies and sneak downstairs. A masked man is rooting through a jewlery box. A burglar. I sneak up behind him and BAM! I take a flying leap, knocking him right over. "What the-" I hear him mutter. I knock him out with a blow to the head. I sigh, then quickly whip out my phone. 1-9-9. Soon the police arive, but by then I've started home. I don't know why, but something's telling me that I don't want to be found.

@UNSUSPCTINGSTRYTLLR, did you mean 9-1-1? Not 1-9-9. 😉 Also, Zandibar's mask goes way over her cheekbones. You can't really tell by the thing I posted, but in the actual picture it does.

True. Though, the Riddler did tell us that she wouldn't post until Friday, so she didn't abandon us! Dunno where everyone else is, however. Maybe you could post, Zeus? I don't want to post again until somebody who's charrie is in the same place as mine posts. I will if I have to, but I really don't want to.
