i believe it is a roleplay, but it would make sense for the creator to start, since they have the idea of everything going on in the beggining of the roleplay, and created the world after all. 😉

HERE'S THE FIRST CHAPTER!

The Nexus is a big place. You could easily get lost. Like me. Getting lost is my specialty. I only came here to some circut breakers for Mr. Jameson's computer. Also to get breakfast. I'm hungry. Yet I still find myself trapped in an alley with a bunch of Glitches crawling towards me. They were a bit like worms, a bit like snot, and a lot less tasty than either. I don't think I've seen this breed before. They usually look like bears, but with more teeth, and red and black skin.
I pulled down my inventory by making a swiping motion with my right hand, and equiped my sword. It's not like I can jump out of here or something. Well, maybe I could! If I charged power to my boots… But that would make a terrible story! I channeled my programmer power to my sword , and thought Fire! as the evil worm things drew closer. "Hope you like Barbaque, worm things that look like something from that old movie BELOW!" They looked around, like to see any other worm things that looked like something from that old movie BELOW.
My sword suddenly grew very heavy, and I felt ajolt as my my sword fired. A cannonball. Didn't see that coming. The blast hits The lead Glitch in the chest, and the rest hurry off after that. I still don't know where I am. Aimless wandering time!
As I'm walking back to the portal terminal, I spot a person wearing a WSGY (Wellworth School for the Gifted Youth) Uniform. I run up to say hello (Who says it's not one of my freinds?) but I am met with the face of a stranger. She has elbow-lenghth brown hair, grey-blue eyes, and serious features.
"Hello!" I say cheerfully. She replies with a cold stare. "Remind me who died again? This is Major Tom to ground control! Can you hear me?" Another cold stare.
"Kayla Warde."
"Gary Katamino, Pleased to make your aquaintance," I say with a slight bow. I hold my hand out for her to shake. Guess what I get? Another cold stare. You could freeze an oven with this girl. I hold her stare for a couple seconds. She shakes my hand.
"Pleased to meet your aquaintance, as well."

Ah the Nexus. The place where you are most likely lost, broke, or going to be attacked by glitches and other stupid filthy things. Don't get me wrong, I like the Nexus, and find that it is helpful to have, but it's also not the place I want to be right now. One of my old friends from my former dimension asked me to come to his hole that he calls his base. Honestly, it's not a base, it's just a cave with computers and cages. But, hey, isn't that what all underground bases are?
I look around, clutching my spear. It's way too quiet. Normally, everyone is yelling over each other around this part of the Nexus, but it's pretty much empty and silent. That's when it hits me, literally. Next thing I know, I'm being attacked my a human/bug creature I've seen before. But I killed him a few days ago… He must be some sort of glitch or hack.
His smirk is utterly annoying and it doesn't help that he always acts like he's smarter than everyone.
"I have SOMEWHERE TO GO. If you would PLEASE GET OUT OF MY WAY, THAT WOULD BE DELIGHTFUL."
He, of course, does not listen, and instead continues to attack. Dodging the claws on the ends of his legs, I spear at him wildly. Eventually, I hit him in his abdomen? I don't know, the important buggy area. He seems to be slowing down, so I dash towards the opening of Leo's base, but the door is closing. Well, this is just FABULOUS.

It's funny, you know, how you can just run into random thingys that want to destroy you. I comment on this as three glitches inch torwards me, the desire for destruction clear on thier faces. "Um, there are other things to do besides kill me you know?" I mention nervously to them as they stalk closer. "Like… Eat candy! Here, you want candy? I have candy!" I rummage through my bag and pull out a candy bar. Then I throw it as far as I can- opps. It smaks into a glitch's face. I sigh and hold up my hands. But before I can offer a peace treaty, the garbage can behind them explodes. They turn around and I, taking the oppertunity, run. Funny, how random things explode where ther is no visible sign of anyone causing it.

Wow! In order to keep everybody on the same page, at the end of every chapter round I will create a post asking if everybody is caught up, and has written their chapters. THIS IS NOT THAT POST!

also, it seems that everybbody is starting their chapters getting backed into a alley by glitches. Try to do something else, people who hasn't written their chapters.

Seriously, where can you find a good diner here? I sprayed a little more bug spray on myself and kept walking. It smelled awful, but I wasn't being attacked by bugs.-

I walk down the streets of the Nexus, hoping to get down to the Market for some basic household,d items. Pots and pans, a chair, two lamps, maybe a bookshelf… All things I would need for the Taken Tavern. It seemed there were more and more brawls each week, and more and more things were getting trashed. I ought to get a level 7 mage to set a charm on the place, but hiring a mage is expensive, far more than I can afford. Ever since getting beemed into this game, I was hoping maybe I could make a little more money here than in the real world, but I'm still dirt poor. The only way I can manage to keep the Tavern up and running is by living on the food from the garden out back, but that's forced me onto meatless diet for five months straight.

Ember, sorry but there is a small problem with this chapter.
1. The people and NPCs DO NOT KNOW that they are in the digital world.
2. This is not like SAO, the world that they are in is not a game, but a combonation of all things digital.
3. There is not level system, and you don't have classes, just jobs.
Sorry if that was a little rough, btu it needs to be done.

It's hard to understand people's impatience.
Some people get restless and run off after only a little while. I don't get it. What's wrong with slowing down? I've been standing here in the Nexus for almost a whole cycle! The night is coming on!
Idling, I watch the crowd. A guy runs by, chased by some Glitches, reminding me to advertise. "Hey!" I call, even though the guy is already out of earshot. "Need some extra firepower? Mora Leexis can help!" I grin and rove my eyes around the crowd. Someone will buy soon. They always do. I pull out my whip and give a quick demonstration, fuschia lightning spinning in a controlled arc. "Help for hire! Let me provide a little aid on your quest with my whip!" A girl walking by looks at me before walking on. I maintain my smile, whipping the electricity out in front of me and cracking my whip twice. "Mora Leexis, extra firepower for hire! Increase your party's damage for just a couple dozen units!"
"Hey lady! You're gonna yell yerself hoarse!" Someone calls to me. I respond the same way I always do– "Hahaha, thanks for the concern, but I'll be okay!" My fuschia eyes clearly display my smile behind my gas mask. I would love to get hired right now. But I can wait. After all my patience is infinite.

(Cue dramatic music)
We all begin being backed into an alleyway, then fighting our way out and ending the chapter escaping into some building or (slightly) progressing the story. Meanwhile Shapalin has bug spray, and Mora is patient. Nothing really happened, though.
Try to get your Charries to meet each other, or this is just gonna be a bit of a mess.
