HOLDUPHOLDUPHOLDUP. LUNAR CHRONICLES THE MUSICAL?!?!?!?!? IS THAT A THING? *rapidly scans the interwebs* Oh. It's not. I WANT TO SEE THAT NOW. Sorry. Off topic.
So basically I was at a youth group event, and we had all been given paper plates and pens for some reason, so I just started randomly doodleing (because why not) and I came up with this little Waffle/Army Man on my plate. I was sitting next to Ice Wolf at the time and she happened to see the little doodle. She laughed a lot and said I should give it a name. So I did. I gave my little waffle dude drawing the name General Waffleson. That was very close to the same day I started going on Cricket, originally by the name 'The Purple Taco'. I had joined Wolfy's thread, and after my first one or two posts, she asked if I could change my name to General Waffleson. So I did, and the name stuck.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My name is actually Isaac, and I'm pretty sure there haven't been other CBers with that name, but I dunno.
Oh, okay. So it was breakfast food! Also, LC the Musical is something Grace and I wrote. You can find a scene from it that we unprofessionally performed and posted on my channel. I was Kai, and I borrowed a sweatshirt from my brother to play the part, but it got stuck when I tried to take it off. Like, people yanking on my head saying , "GANDALF SPAM YOU DASHBOARDING SWEATSHIRT," kind of stuck. So yeah, Lunar Chronicles the Musical
ZeusParticipantIdahoMy real name is Eva, pronounced the Spanish way, like Eva Perón for lack of a better example. Which is a little odd since neither of my parents are Spanish at all, but I love my name and I'm not complaining.
I wish I could think of questions to ask. I want to be asked questions but I can't think of any myself.
Vyolette(Vee-o-LET)Participantjust to be
sure you know...@Admin- Hmmmm. I've never thought of pronouncing it that way….*Thinks for a moment*
ATTENTION EVERYBUGGY!!!-
My name shall from now on and forever more be pronounced as Vee-o-LET! Credit goes to the Admin who came up with this wonderful idea!
I'm so pleased you like it. I think it was on the PBS series "Mr. Selfridge" that I heard it pronounced that way. She was one of his daughters. (story based upon true characters)
The Dance StudioThe thing about me that suprises people the most about me is my height and age. I'm really tall but besides that I look kind younger then I am (I'm 12).
-
Vyolette(Vee-o-LET)Participant@Zeus- Do you rather prefer to (A) Draw. (B) Write. Or (C) Other (Elaborate)?
@coyotedomino- How on EARTH did you come up with your name?
-
LilyPadParticipantThat's such a cool name. I love it, Admins.
I always thought of it as Vyo-let-EE I don't even know why.
-
LilyPadParticipant@Cockleburr
When did you first join the CB?
@General Waffleson
If you were abandoned on a desert island and could only take 3 things with you, what would they be?
@Satin
Do you have any pets?
@AutumnArtist
Are knock knock jokes lame or funny in your opinion?
-
CrookshanksParticipantMaybe coming back soonThanks for asking me questions! I think this is the first time I've been on one of these threads without posting something first!
@Lilypad, I've actually been to 10 countries, including India, where I lived gr8 a year. The funny thing is, I've been overseas lots, and I live like four hours away from Canada, but have never been there.
@Starseeker, Um, probably that I'm actually super talkative, if they mention cats, Harry Potter, or just books in general. Or Hamilton.
-
Kate-the-GreatParticipantThis is a cool thread! I'd love to answer some questions. 🙂 However I can't think of any for anyone else. XD
-
coyotedominoParticipant14
the Wood, OmniverseOkay. I'm 14 and I'd rather not reveal my real name, but it's Hebrew. And how did I come up with coyotedomino… Ummm, domino is Latin for lord, but that wasn't really the point. It just sounds cool. I do like coyotes. I gues I just like the sound, mostly.
-
Vyolette(Vee-o-LET)ParticipantOHHHhhhhhhh. I thought it was domino, as in the game with the pieces that have little dots on them. Just goes to show how much I know ! 😉 (Also… YAY! Another CBer with a Hebrew name!!!:))
SeptemberParticipant@Starseeker, same here! People are usually really surprised when they find out that I’m only fourteen! I’ve been asked many times what college I go to!
@Bluebird, my dream home would be a studio apartment in Brooklyn
BluebirdParticipantRandom questions for everyone:
What is your favorite genre to read/write, and are there any genres you don't like?
What would you do if the Zombie Apolcalypse happened?
What is the last song you listened to, or are currently listening to?
What is the funniest joke/meme/comic that you have ever seen?
Are you a warm or cold person/what type of weather is your fave?
-
Kate-the-GreatParticipant– like: fantasy/adventure, don't like: romance
– build a huge bunker on the top of a mountain and invite all the nice people who are still alive to stay there
– The Troubles, by U2
– That is HARD. Basically almost everything my classmates say! XD
– cold! I love cold weather!
StarseekerParticipant156 moons
Enterprise@Bluebird:
My favorite genre to read AND write is fantasy, especially young adult (but I don't mean young adult as in heavy romance and gore and such, I mean young adult as in a little deeper and plot-twisty-ey than children's.)
If the Zombie Apocalypse happened, then I would shove my friends in front of me and run. DON'T THINK I'M A MONSTER! My friends and I have thought about this a lot. I'm the fastest runner, and so they would give me the best chance they could for me to survive. The pay off of that, however, is that if there's ever a vampire apocalypse, they would give me up. I have a weirdly long neck. (My friends are weird, in that we have plans for this sort of thing. XD)
The last song I listened to was a band song, called "Summer Resounding" by Brian Balmages. We just got the music for it today, and we listened to the professional recording of it.
The funniest joke I have ever heard was– wow, there's actually a lot, but most of them are inside jokes that you wouldn't get. So here's one that everyone can get: Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are camping. Once night falls, they enter their tent and go to sleep. In the middle of the night, Sherlock Holmes wakes up and looks around. He pokes John Watson awake and says, "John, look up. What do you see?" John Watson answers, "Stars." Sherlock Holmes replies, "And what can you deduce from that?" John Watson looks thoughtful for a moment, then says, "Well, since our own Sun is a star, and there are many planets around it, it would be logical to assume that this is the case for many stars. And the night sky is full of billions of stars. So, there must be billions and billions of planets. From there, it's easy to conclude that at least some of those would have Earth-like conditions, and therefore life. So, I deduce that there is far-away life on other planets, just waiting to be discovered." John Watson looks at Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes replies, "No, John, it means someone's stolen our tent!" (I did not quote that perfectly from where I first saw it, but you get the idea.)
I am constantly cold! I don't really know why. Even in summer, I can be found in a sweatshirt. Surprisingly, however, I like cold weather best. I love being able to wear thick socks, sweaters, and furry boots without it being weird. 🙂
