If I’ve ever learned anything from my own episodes of banging my head against the desk while I’ve tried to work around writer’s block, it’s that this stuff can’t be rushed. Artists can amaze me with a couple of lines and shades, musicians can captivate with a dozen notes, but writers like us…We’re on the longest end of the spectrum. Magic takes time, so take your time.

What is our eyes turned into laser pointers?
Like, whenever anyone looks at something, a little red dot always beams onto the thing you’re looking at.
It would mean less privacy, as everyone would always know what you were looking at and could infer why. Like, people would catch on that you like someone because your laser-pointer eyes keep beaming on them.
And it would be MEGA creepy if you were just walking home by yourself and you see this random red beam on your chest, even when no one is around.
Interesting alternate reality, though.
