i don’t know if anyone else was planning on making this thread, but since it’s almost valentine’s day, i figured i’d just go ahead and post it :]
so, welcome to the 2026 cb reunion! hopefully this will be the first proper one we’ve had in a while – around the 2024 reunion, the cb crashed and was down for a week or so, and around the 2025 reunion, a cyberattack caused the admins to shut down the cb and it went under repairs for about four months. so…third time’s the charm?
for new cbers, the valentine’s day cb reunion happens once a year, and it’s a chance for old cbers to catch up and meet new cbers. it’s a lot of fun, and while the focus is of course on returning cbers, current cbers are more than welcome as well. so feel free to introduce yourselves and get to know the returning cbers!
for returning cbers, hi!! welcome back!! i’m pangolin, she/they and i’m excited to catch up with you guys! how’ve you been?
a lot has changed here since the last reunion – mainly, the site updated! as much as we all loved the old site, the shut-downs and glitches that emerged as a result proved that the old technology just wasn’t able to support the cb anymore. so, for returning cbers who might’ve been a bit startled by the new website appearance, i promise it’s still the same old cb – it just looks and functions a little differently :]

Hello all CBers! Call me Zealatom or Zeal, he/him, aspiring writer, tortured high school student. I’ve been dropping out and coming back on the CB back and forth for ages now, but for now I’m active(sort of)! I can’t wait to read you all around again! The Chatterbox’s been feeling rather quieter than usual since the new forums updated, so I really hope to see some familiar faces from before everything changed up…

I use They/He/Pup pronouns, this is my 3rd year on CB, and my main hobby is drawing. But I also enjoy creative writing, playing bass, playing video games (Hades 2 and Dispatch are my current favorites), and working on my OCs/AEs.

Hola! I’m Thalorwin! She/her. I’ve been on the chatterbox since maybe June or July. I’m excited to meet some new people. Well, ummmm yeah! I wouldn’t say I’m new, but I wouldn’t say I’m an old CBer either. So yeah! Almost a year, sort of. I like to read, go outside, climb in trees and on 60 ft tall rock walls. Yeah. Byeee!!

Hey everyone! I’m Moon Wolf, she/her, a reader and writer and poet who joined CB a bit more than 2 years ago. I’m really excited to see some of the returning CBers (and hopefully I’ll recognize some names from either the previous CB reunions or just before).

I tried to post before but I don’t think it went through… take two!
I’ve gotten to a point of inactivity where I’m probably more like a former CBer, so… hi! Former (ish) CBer reporting for duty!
If you don’t know me, I’m Periwinkle, better known as Peri. I joined in January 2021 and was very active until about the end of 2024! These days my visits to the CB are pretty rare, but I love this place very much. I’m best known here for creating Make a Friend way back in 2021 (love to see that that is still popular around… I consider this my legacy!) and for my (still unfinished) ski lodge! I was also known for giving lots of advice on the confessions thread and for my AEs, which I still write about regularly!
I’m a sophomore in high school, and I’m pretty busy. I participate in my school’s choir and it’s lots of fun! I love to sing. I’m also in the school musical. Oh, and I got a really good opportunity: next year I have the chance to be the editor in chief of my school’s literary magazine! It kind of fell apart after the old advisor left, so I would be rebuilding it with the help of a teacher. I’m so excited!
Anyway, happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! I miss you all and I would love to catch up with anyone. I’ll do my very best to respond for the next few days!
Also, @pangolin, would you ever want to revive our old chat thread? I’m already very rarely active in my existing chat threads, but I still miss talking to you and if you wouldn’t mind my inactivity I would love to try to have a chat thread again!
