halloween is approaching, so it’s time for CB trick or treating :D! i think we’ve done something similar in years past – basically, you can make post on this thread saying “trick or treat,” and other cbers can respond to you with a “treat” (like a written picturing, poem, drawing, compliment, joke, or anything else you can think of)! have fun, and happy halloween! <|:D

Here’s a quick written picturing inspired your location. I hope you like it!
It was autumn. In the lovely forest stood a slender girl with long black hair, dressed in a dark-green cloak. Her eyes, violet and shining, were wide with amazement, taking in the scenery around her. Scarlet and gold trees surrounded her, shimmering against the blue sky as if they had been overlaid on a canvas with metallic paint. Here and there a leaf drifted through the air that was still soft with the warmth of summer, and the girl realized that now she knew what beauty was…

The stars were so bright that evening. If you lay on the warm grass and looked at them very closely, accepting your distance and yet letting yourself draw close to them, you might even start imagining that there was someone there. A sort of ruler of the stars, as it were.
She was at home in the Milky Way, her lilac tie-front top catching now and then on a stray constellation, her dark jeans almost lost in the darkness of the sky but the purple tips of her hair seeming to have a slight glow of their own. In her left hand she held a glowing wand, with which she traced constellations as she walked through the Milky Way. Orion, Ariadne, Scorpio… and then a great, silvery winged horse whose name she whispered as she sprang onto him to explore even further reaches of stars: Pegasus.
