Ik there was another thread called the same thing, and it was for other CBers to come up with backstories for the people on cricket.
This is not that, uh, this thread is for the backstories, that you came up with, for your CBer (if you think of your CBsona as a character thingy)

INKY
(acronym? I.N.K.Y? Inter-species . Non-human . Kinetic . Youth? )
I.N.K.Y. (Inky, for short) is a shape-shifter mutation. They were originally, a normal teenage human being. But due to the experiments and tests of the Altered . Creature . Association . (A.C.A), they are no longer.
Forced into the trial by their extended family’s greed for the money being offered, Inky was thus changed to what they are now.
The test’s goal was to achieve a shape shifter-like status within the host, by attaching fabricated DNA to the preexisting human’s. However, only 9 other forms were attached. 10 was the goal, but Inky’s biology reacted poorly, and it seemed they could not shift. Throw aside, as a failed experiment, Inky was left to their devices.
To their surprise, they did in fact have the power to shift, but only when there was a spike in their emotion. When coming to this realization, their anger spiked, causing the DNA of the Hyena to overcome them. Unable to control them, the results of their rampage was silence in the lab, sounds of any pulse gone. Emotions level again, Inky stood motionless, for a good long while. Reality sinking in, they fled, staying in the wilderness for many days and nights. During these weeks, they came to realize they held an amount of control over their shifts. Fully shifting, what happened back at the lab, Half shifting, gaining a good amount of traits from their shift, and Quarter shifting, only a few traits of the shift appear.
Feeling confidant in their control, Inky decided to enter society once more. Currently living like a normal human, Inky strives to save other unfortunate people from the A.C.A.
