Good heavens, how on earth did this pass me by?? On September 6th, it was officially three years since I made my very first post on the CB! And… whoa. I can’t believe that it’s been as much or as little as three years – I’ve grown exponentially since I’ve joined, and it feels like I must have been on here forever, but at the same time, three years already? I’m getting quite old, children *pats everyone on the head*
So how do I even start to describe what this place has meant to me? I’m such a different person now from when I joined (in a good way hehe), but I think the CB has just given me the ability to find out about all the potential I had. Y’all have been an infinite source of happiness in my life, making me laugh, supporting me, being the absolute BEST friends I could ever have asked for, inspiring me, being a wonderful, wonderful community which has shaped me and given me so much. I liked to think I could write poems before I joined, but basically you’ve even taught me how to do that… The CB has also given me a place to share my writing (and develop it, of course), and be silly, and realize that I’m not alone. I can’t even imagine a time before the CB now, and, to be honest, I don’t really want to.
Seriously, thinking about it, this little corner of the internet is so miraculous; I’m so grateful to have had the chance to know all of you, discuss world affairs and books and writing and music, throw pies, win last to post (multiple times, I might add), participate in RPs and SIs and solo writes and ski lodges, and just be a part of all this. You’re so talented and amazing, and I wouldn’t be quite the person I am without you, so, honestly, thank you for being yourselves and making this community what it is (especially to the admins!! for putting in so much effort for us :D, and to Lyric for our wonderful Songbird Group <3, but really to every single one of you), and I love you all <333
And I think that’s really all there is to say…? I’ll be doing a q&a to celebrate!

Thanks!!! You’re so kind and creative, and I’ve also loved all our RPs and AE shipping :DOoh, good question – it’s currently “Piensa en Mi”, by a group called Grupo Mojado, which is lovely and kind of reminds me of last spring and is therefore a ~happy song~. It’s kind of alternating with “Brothers Under the Sun” by Bryan Adams, though, which I haven’t listened to much and isn’t my favorite, so I’m happy that it’s decided to be PeM for a change.

For your question, it would undoubtedly be either ~world-famous writer~ or rUlEr Of ThE wOrLd (as in person who rules, not thing that measures – just realized how it could be misinterpreted XD)

Good question – maybe Happy Half-Hours, a book of delightful little essays by A.A. Milne, which was so much fun to read. For fiction, I reread Love and Gelato a few weeks ago, which was obviously lovely :)(if rereadings count?)
