this is a wonderful idea! I already have an irl micronation, Lykosia, but I suppose it could have a subset that is a province of the Chatterbox. would that be alright?

Maybe it can also include the old colours of the CB, red and yellow: I’ll go to Wayback Machine with my colour meter and figure out the exact shades, then design one myself. In the meantime, how will we organise provinces and cities? Will our census now be governmental? And what are the verses of our national anthem? (Calling on our poet CBers for this)

On the darkness of nights

Ack, sorry, two comments in a row, but @Sine as for the United Provinces of the Chatterbox as a name, I’m honestly not super sure about that? I feel like if we were a nation, the CB would kinda stand for the whole world, and the “United Provinces of the Chatterbox” feels a bit too much like a typical country to me?? Which Ig is the whole point here, and I’m used to worldbuilding fantasy lands and not micro-nations, haha, but I feel like since we don’t really have a physical “land,” we’re kind of free to be like more of a spirit land (not the ghostly kind of spirit, but like floating in between and connecting all the countries of the world) with each “province” being a sort of realm that represents an aspect human nature and connectedness, like creativity or compassion… okay, now I’m just going like full-fledged fantasy. I know you’re trying to create a micronation that mimics an actual nation, so you can disregard this, but just putting the gist of what I’m thinking out there I guess.:)

This is a good idea, but would we have a form of government. If so, should we mimic an already existing one or create our own?
Also, for the flag, I like the red and yellow idea. Maybe we could do something like the flag split diagonally down the middle with yellow on top, red at the bottom, and Old Cricket in the middle. Idk. Just an idea.
Also, maybe each section (DtE, CaC, Inkwell, Pudding’s, etc) could be like provinces and all the different threads could be cities. I mean, that would be A LOT of cities, but still.

Celine, lovely anthem, absolutely beautiful! I feel like it probably could be shortened a little, but it’s very good. as for the name of the micronation, I’m not sure… United Provinces of the Chatterbox is very easy, but we surely could go with something different if we wanted to. on the topic of provinces each representing something… eh, maybe, but I don’t know about them only representing that. like maybe we could have our free invented provinces, and then from there each province can choose some idea or staple construct of the CB that they wanted to represent?

This is a pretty cool idea! @CelineBurningBright, I love the national anthem you came up with! It’s very moving and powerful.

Do any of you remember how some time ago, there was “Do you hear the crickets chirping?” as a code to find a fellow CBer irl? What if we made that a national motto, of sorts? You don’t have to if you have something more moving or community-like in mind, but that’s just an idea.

@Coyote, I was kind of thinking of your idea of provinces, where each section is a major province, but obviously, if others have ideas outside of that, we don’t have to do that. Or we could always have sections as provinces, but also have additional provinces that are major parts of CB, like what Celine said about creativity and compassion.

@Sine, I can make the national symbols! What kind of designs/patterns/colors were you thinkin’ of??? Also, how on earth do I post a pic on here? And I’m on EST time, but I not only post on the computer like I used to, but sometimes I post on my phone. Not after 7 pm, tho, that’s when my parents say “ok Em no electronics”. Somethin’ ‘bout quiet time or whatever.
