Okay, so I haven’t been here in a couple months. Actually, that one day I posted and said I was coming back except I forgot to come back after that (hence the couple months) was the first time I posted/checked the CB since a year or so. Personality: Friendly, strategic, funny. To me life is both a game of poker and a game of chess.
Favorite song: Don’t have one favorite, but I like the oldies but goodies (Tom Petty, The Beatles, etc.) also I love musicals.
Favorite movie: Either Life of Pi, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, or… of course I blank the moment I’m asked. But I also love movies like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Breakfast Club.
Favorite Book: I love The Outsiders, The Hunger Games, and most books by Fredrik Backman or Jennifer Lynn Barnes. For my all time favorite book though, I have to reply the same way Enzo Ferrari did when asked which car was his favorite. He answered, “The next one.”
Favorite Object: My leather jacket. It’s light brown and I wish I could wear it everywhere.
Weirdest food you’ve eaten: I have no idea. I tried Kangaroo once, but at the time I thought it was steak. It was actually quite good.
Weirdest thing you’ve done: Choices, choices. Once I was dragged down a gravel road by a golf cart. Also, I once chose to wear leggings with my school uniform every day at school for three consecutive years. I have no idea why, but it became an unofficial school record.
In an alternate alien universe what would you look like?: Really, really cool. I would probably (hopefully) have eagle wings and kaleidoscope eyes that actually glow and shift colors.

How clean is your room on a daily basis: You can make out the floor on a good day. I want to be an organized person, but in practice, it never seems to work out.-

Ooh I like musicals too! Never heard of any of those movies but they sound cool! Oh yes the Outsiders is a good one my friends are all really obsessed with it and I’m honestly tired of hearing about it but I liked it when I read it. My goodness, didn’t know you could actually eat kangaroo that sounds interesting….my mom always muses about eating peacock (they hang around our neighborhood for some reason) Haha actually I used to wear nothing but leggings from age 10-12 but now I rarely ever wear them, I only wear jeans and t-shirts. Ooh I feel like the kaleidoscope eyes would give you the power to hypnotize others. Oh cool! I still haven’t met anyone irl who can actually touch their tongue to the tip of their nose. I recently figured out how to whistle but then I got braces and now I can’t whistle anymore T-T it’s hard for someone to explain how to whistle you kinda js have to figure it out yourself and then get the hang of it and you use your tongue to change the note you whistle. The most annoying guys at school just figured out how to do that one whistle where you use your fingers to create a VERY shrill whistle that has ruined everyone’s ears. I only included the .5 question since I was calling my friend that day and told her I consider whatever animal people look like in a .5 is their spirit animal hehehe. Yeah organization is tricky, I mean this is evidence of it already, this “paragraph” isn’t organized at all XD

Favorite object… I really like decorated Easter eggs, especially the ones that are covered in swirls of colored tissue paper. But if it’s what’s my favorite possession, then maybe some of my jewelry items? Or my painted wooden egg from a trinket shop in Portugal? Or my lemon-scented wooden box that my grandpa gave me? BOW DOWN YE COMMONERS :)) also I’ve been in Portugal, Mexico, Canada, Texas, Oregon, New York, and Georgia, and I can sing songs in Portuguese, Farsi, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, my own conlang, and English. That is happening for lots of people (including me!). You need to press submit again. As long as your reply is still down at the bottom it has not yet posted. I have to press submit, then scroll back down, complete the Cloudflare box, and submit again. Then my comment will post. We are working on solving this bug.

Love & Gelato is a romcom, about a girl who goes to Florence to live with her father; she overcomes the loss of her mother, discovers who she is and what’s important to her, and, obviously, falls in love. It’s very light reading and not great literature at all, but it’s fun :)) Blue and silver iS gorgeous – I love nice color combinations in general, in fact.
Actually, a small confession: not having a smartphone, I didn’t know what a 0.5 is either, and took it as a random question :p However, having read your reply to Poinsettia, I’m retracting the unicorn/dragon/dolphin idea XD

Object: I think this really nice fountain pen that my grandma gave me. I also collect little pouches, for some reason yet unknown to me.

Weirdest thing you’ve done: This isn’t outstandingly weird, but at one family dinner we were all playing wine glasses (I don’t drink wine, but everyone else had a glass and so we put an empty one at my place) with our wet fingers and making shrill noises with them and then a bat came in. (My grandparents live out in the country, and every so often there’s a bat in the house.)

Ah you sound pretty quite and chill and you won’t break my energy bank. Omg i love betty!! the whole folklore era is perfection honestly its so gentle, i’ve been giving it more appreciation. Aughhh for some reason I’m not allowed to read order of the phoenix, i read to the goblet of fire but my dad wont let me read that one, not sure why. Oh-ho the last time I used a fountain pen I accidentally held it too close to the nib where the ink comes out and it was all over my hand and didn’t notice until i was done using it….so that went well, heh. Oh I didn’t know bats came into houses XD guess that’s a hack if you somehow need bats to follow you around just have wet fingers and a wine glass.

Favorite song, movie, book, object, etc: it changes every five minutes, but at approximately 6:03 pm on Saturday June 28th, 2025, my answers are: “Save Yourself, I’ll Hold Them Back” by My Chemical Romance, Sing Street, Dracula by Bram Stoker, and my notebooks (my current main notebook is fancier than usual — navy blue and emerald green with silver foil accents and peacocks!!)
Weirdest food you’ve eaten: pickled mangoes? blood pudding? cheddar-flavored crickets? i liked the spicy crickets but the cheddar flavoring was a little much. idk how weird any of that is.
Weirdest thing you’ve done: not sure if this is the weirdest thing, but for one of the final projects of my freshman English class, we had to choose a poem to perform in front of everyone. most people went for really pretentious poems and just read them off the paper, but i picked “[hist whist]” by e. e. cummings (look it up and read it if you haven’t already, i highly recommend!!), dressed up in a long black cloak and wore rubber Dementor hands left over from old halloween costumes, and did a lot of twirling about and brandishing my hands at people in the audience. it was very fun.

An outgoing introvert, because I mingle with people rather nicely but never actually find the right occasions to display my true intrests (writing and worldbuilding, etc), so I just nod and smile with the conversation and talk relatively little.
Favorite song, movie, book, object, etc: Song: Argh, the one question I cannot answer directly! I like rock and pop and electronic music mostly, and a lot of other genres as well.
