INK ☆TEAGuestDionysus's favorite nymph
The Underworld XDSo, Idk if i’ve mentioned it, but I’m am in the process of writing and worldbuilding a very extensive fantasy world, that all started with the Fantasy AU of my AEs.
I’ve gotten kinda far on my own, and I will continue to….mostly. But, I struggle with names. And that is why I ask for help.
It could be name ideas for the entire world, regions, towns, kingdoms, shops, stores, Inns, animal species, really anything.
I just need help, so if you have any ideas, feel free to let me know 😀 -

A Celestial SkyI would love to help come up with name ideas! Is there a theme you are going for in your fantasy world? Like Greek mythology or nature or something?

The Underworld XDUHm….Not really. It’s pretty varied due to the different levels of the world (underground, uboveground, sky) and different climates/part. But think of high fantasy/D&D

PoinsettiaGuestOoh, names are so much fun!
Inns:
The Teacup
Butter’n’Eggs
Miss Larkspur’sKingdoms:
Irenia (emphasis on the second i)
Firsmuth (this sounds like a sort of cold, Northern country)
You could also name them after jewels and tie something about jewels into the backstory to explain why.Cities:
Shalimar
City of A Thousand RosesAnimal Species:
Bundledriffin
Sand-dweller
FelmarinePeople:
Crystalia, Elmarine, Astra, IvonnaC. S. Lewis made up some really good names, so taking a look at his Chronicles of Narnia might be helpful if you want more inspiration. If the ones I suggested don’t have the right vibe for you, lmk and I could come up with some other ones:)

CoyoteGuestPenny LaneMaybe, for place names, you could use words from old languages, like Latin and Ancient Greek that apply to the place. For instance you could use the Bellum (which I believe means war in Latin) for an aggressive warlike country. Or you could have a happy, bright town named Apricus, meaning “full of sunlight” in Latin. You could also probably do the same thing for people’s names.
