A Celestial SkyThis game is similar to the writing game, where each person writes 2-4 sentences to add to the story, except with a twist! Each time, the person who adds to the story changes the genre of the story (I would use a randomizer but you can choose the genre, as long as it is different from the current one) and adjusts the story accordingly. Thus, by the end, we’ll have a very chaotic story! If we do happen to finish, someone else can start off with a new story and genre.
Anyways, I’ll start with historical fiction.
The sound of a clanging bell echoed through the city streets amidst the acrid tang of smoke that constantly permeated the air. The girl, however, instead of obeying the signal and heading to work at the mills, gathered her few belongings, preparing to escape. She was tired of the constant whirring of the machinery, the so-called “independence” that the matron claimed, and she had had enough.

Outskirts of the Galaxynow science fiction!
The gigantic dragon’s metallic silver hull shimmered, even through the clouds of dirty haze and factory smoke, as it lifted into the sky. Every day, the girl watched ship after glamorous ship, each with its own unique design, take off towards a distant planet. She dreamed of when she could finally buy passage aboard one of those ships, and leave her home planet behind forever.

AmityGuestNow mystery!
Yet the week before, the streets had been full of whispers that a ship had been destroyed. Each day after, more and more were smashed to bits, blown up, discovered with ruined engines. Luckily, no one was hurt, but the saboteur hadn’t been caught either.

AmethystGuestRealistic fiction :]
She sighed, gathering her hair into a ponytail and watching the blue of the sea. If only the ships were really dragons, perhaps she could have gotten out of here… As it was, she could dream all she wanted, but there would never actually be dragon ships to take her away from what she wished she could leave behind.

All of a sudden, she had a feeling that she was being followed. She caught the glimpse of a shadow from the corner of her vision, and felt an ominous atmosphere. However, her surroundings, a dark alley she had wandered into, were empty. Suddenly, she heard a scream.

ThalorwinGuestNow numerous fiction!!
She then notices that the scream was just her friend. She then laughs for awhile, not standing up.
