Hi! I was wondering if we could have a forum to just talk about our writing projects! I wanted to yap about my book to some other writers. It’s a shame people don’t use Inkwell very much. We should use it more!

Yes, I would love to talk about my creative projects! I like to write fanfiction, and short stories and essays. And I’m also currently writing a Ski Lodge on here at Pudding’s Place, which has been a lot of fun. What are your novels about? They sound cool!

Hiya! I’m into writing fanfics about my favorite shows and books but I’ve kind of stopped that for a while. However, I have an essay I’m working on!
Last year, we had a history assignment to write a letter to a person in power (I wrote to a governor) about protection of rivers and animals that live inside. I’ve found my essay and decided to expand it into a greater topic, like climate change and how we can help to mitigate its effects. So far, I put in a section on fossil fuels and carbon dioxide levels! When I finish, I may actually send it to the governor.
I’ve really enjoyed your Ski Lodge, Pea Vine! Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Thanks, Silent_Princess! I couldn’t write a chapter today, because my sisters birthday party was today, but I’ll probably upload another chapter tomorrow!

I’m writing a story right now called Dissonance. Imma write a back-of-the-book summary for it since I somehow haven’t done that yet— Here!:
Fourteen-year-old twins Lysander (Lys) and Callysta (Callie) Martele have always stood apart from the crowd with their musical abilities. Their grandmother raised them, and despite limited resources and a lack of private lessons, they excelled far beyond their peers. Their grandmother, Beatrica (Bea) Martele always greatly encouraged them, but one day, when they were eleven, she disappeared without a single trace. With no memories or knowledge of any other family, the twins are left to survive the horrors of middle school with only each other.
One day, at their school’s annual talent show, the twins have a plan to perform—and win. But Lys’s ex-friends, Jason and Tyler, get in the way when they break his G-string and seem to set off a whole strange panic attack—shifting shadows, dimming lights, a figure Lys sees out of the corner of his eye….
He snaps out of it and gets on stage. The performance doesn’t go too well, considering he blows up the entire school cafeteria…
The two are taken away from their lives as they’ve known it, thrust into a new musical multiverse with their interdimensional tour guide, Claira Hex, and their secret mentor with many dark secrets, Phrygian. Soon enough, they realize there is a whole musical conspiracy going on in this multiverse…that Lys and Callie are right in the middle of. Can they save the multiverse from the threatening dissonance? Or will they be defeated by the dissonance within themselves?
Wow I’m bad at writing summaries lol 😛 this story is really hard to write a summary for though because it’s really complex… Well, if anyone wants to read some of it, lemme know! 😀

A Ski Lodge is a murder mystery “adventure” that takes place at a hotel usually. It’s sometimes slightly dark. Sometimes. Though, still CB appropriate. A NON-death ski lodge is a mystery still in a hotel, but no dying and less intense. Maybe you’ll be the next to do a ski lodge!! I’m currently doing a ski lodge. You can join if you want. I would say that you should plan it out for a certain amount of people and plan it completely out before you post or start sharing it. I might of made that mistake. Also, don’t change your plan. I did that too. Basically, don’t use the same process I did!!

ooh, your story sounds so cool, Spagety – missing grandmothers? a musical multiverse? dark secrets? conspiracies? that sounds AWESOME and i would love to hear more about it or read a part of it, if you’re willing to share :DD
and Silent_Princess, your essay sounds awesome – you should definitely send it to the governor when you’re done!
and, of course, i love your ski lodges, Thalorwin and Pea Vine! i don’t think i’m caught up with them, but i’ve been kind of following along. i’ll comment soon :]
as for me – i have way too many projects, and i’m also making progress on exactly none of them ToT
my main-ish project at the moment is my ski lodge! it’s called Lockaria House, and i’ve been working on it for…wayyy too long XD but it’s probably my longest project to date, and i’m pretty proud of it :] i should try to post the next part soon… anyway, i definitely agree with Thalorwin – i really should’ve planned it out beforehand and not changed my entire outline at LEAST six times :p
i’m also working on a sci-fi novel about the exploits of an incompetent teenage runaway and her alien cat sidekick. there isn’t really much of a plot yet, but it’s fun!
