i’m already almost done with a new ultimate guide, actually! great minds think alike haha! 😛 i was going to post it sometimes this weekend, but if anyone has any suggestions for any updates they’d like to see in it, i’d love to include them! and of course, like the old guides, everyone is free to add information and updates once it’s been posted.

here’s what I’m already including in the new guide—lmk if there’s anything else that would be useful!
– glossary (mostly the same as the Kitten’s ultimate guide, with some updated definitions and new terms)
– FAQ (mostly the same; some new questions and updated info) 
– guide to formatting posts (including uploading images)
– notable glitches (and how to potentially avoid them)
– basic cb etiquette and roleplay etiquette (same as the old guide, with a brief addition about tone tags)
– areas of the cb (mostly the same)
– activities on the cb (mostly the same, though i added a couple activities (like make a friend))
– cb holidays (same as the old guide)
– the mcu (slightly updated from the old guide)
– abigail’s ae guidelines (and i thought of doing a section on rp-style vs. chat-thread-style ae interactions but i don’t really think it’s necessary so i probably won’t include it? unless anyone else thinks it might be helpful?) 
– a brief section on cb history (specifically regarding the website shut-downs this year and last year)—like in Kitten’s old guide, im not going to include old wars/conflicts on the CB, but if someone else wants to write up and post a section on that, feel free!
