ScoutedWolfKnifeGuestas old as the trees
A far away landHi Guys!
I’ve this idea for a thread that people can post and rant about the worst or best books turned into Tv shows or movies. I’ve created a little form below.Book Title And Genre:
Movie Or Tv Show Title: (what the movie of show is call and and what you can watch it on)
Book Rating: (how good was the book on a scale of 1-10)
Movie Or Show Rating: (same as before but with the movie or show)
Commentents: (why you liked or hated the movie or tv show version of the book)
Recommendability:(How likely are you to recommend this movie of Tv show to a friend)
Hope you enjoy!

A far away landI don’t quite understand what you are trying to say.
-
AdminModeratorDon’t talk about books, movies, and shows that are rated for teens and/or adults only. Stick to G or PG.

A Celestial SkyBook Title And Genre: Artemis Fowl
Movie Or Tv Show Title: (what the movie of show is call and and what you can watch it on) Artemis Fowl
Book Rating: (how good was the book on a scale of 1-10) 8, really great fantasy sci-fi that’s between mg and ya with a complex antihero main character (and I absolutely love complex antihero characters!)
Movie Or Show Rating: (same as before but with the movie or show) 0/10
Commentents: (why you liked or hated the movie or tv show version of the book) the movie removed so many key structural elements, and the character of Artemis Fowl was completely diluted. Like he was changed to become a stereotypical hero, when in the original, he was a villain-like character. And one of the characters, Butler, was supposed to be emotionless, thus when any hint of emotion was showed it became very impactful, but in the movie, his character is completely changed.
Recommendability:(How likely are you to recommend this movie of Tv show to a friend) Not at all. I would stick to the books.

ThalorwinGuestThis one is for why I love the movie to book. Just saying. Thanks for making this form @Scouted Wolf Knight!! So glad to read u again!!
Book Title And Genre: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Fantasy
Movie Or Tv Show Title: (what the movie of show is call and and what you can watch it on) The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Disney+
Book Rating: (how good was the book on a scale of 1-10) ummmmmm probably a 9/10
Movie Or Show Rating: (same as before but with the movie or show) 10/10
Comments: (why you liked or hated the movie or tv show version of the book) I think the movie is so good. The soundtrack is amazing, and the actors are outstanding. They make each character exactly like in the books, and they don’t add anything to my knowledge. Out of everything, I say that that the movie is amazing and the animation/CGI for the mythical creatures is so good.
Recommendability:(How likely are you to recommend this movie of Tv show to a friend) oh, I would definitely recommend it, but I think everyone I know has heard of it and/or seen the movie or read the book.

HawkstarGuestBook Title And Genre: How To Train Your Dragon, fantasy
Movie Or Tv Show Title: (what the movie of show is call and what you can watch it on) How To Train Your Dragon (idk DVD? lol I have zero streaming services)
Book Rating: (how good was the book on a scale of 1-10) 8/10
Movie Or Show Rating: (same as before but with the movie or show)0/10
Commentents: (why you liked or hated the movie or tv show version of the book) I feel like everything got switched around! In the book, Toothless is a small, green dragon, and yet in the movie he is huge and black…? Plus, in the books, Hiccup actually can talk to dragons, having learned Dragonese. There’s a lot of little things that bother me, but it always makes me sad when people seem so surprised that there is an entire book series that exist. And it’s so much better than the movies, all three of them.
Recommendability:(How likely are you to recommend this movie of Tv show to a friend) A lot of people seem to love the movie, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
