The Last Dragon Chronicles (Series)
by Chris D'LaceyI LOVE this book series. Only read two of them so far, but they're really awesome! I hope my parents will get me the whole series for my birthday.
Basically, there's a guy named David who rents a house that is filled with magical dragons. David gets a dragon of his own, but mistreats it and it cries, therefore almost killing itself. David also has to write a story for the landlady's daughter, has to help said daughter save a squirrel and a raccoon, and discover the mystery of the dragons of 42 Wayward Crescent. A bunch of other stuff happens in the other books which I haven't read yet, too. Go read them yourself! (7 book series by Chris D'Lacey)

Oh good, someone else! I know one other person on here ("Grace") knows about it, too. That makes 2... I'm not sure why it's not more popular, actually. It's really well written.

Oh my! This series changed my life! Totally helped rework my inner concept of time! Liz is my favorite character, because she is so sweet.
