by Heather DyerThis is a hilarious book! It's about a little boy named Toby who discovers a family of mermaids called the Flots. Toby has no parents and he was found lying on the bed in room 23. The hotel keeper (Mr.Harris) makes him help around the hotel, and the only outfit Toby has is his pajamas. When Toby discovers the Flots, they give him the Duke of Dudley's ring. The ship had sunk one year before Toby was found. Once Mr. Harris discovers the ring, he's sure there's more treasure nearby. Soon everybody is searching the beach. Will the Flots be discovered? Will Toby find his parents? You'll have to read it to find out!
