Midnight Magic

by Avi

This is the story of a servant boy to an illusionist. They are called to the Castello because people think they can do the dark arts of magic. They think the prince was murdered in Rome and the princess is seeing his ghost. Mangus, the illusionist, doesn't believe in ghosts. But when they hear it beckoning the servant boy to avenge him, it all changes.

Some of the stuff Avi writes is absolutely flamablamablous (*coughCharlotteDoylecough*), but other stuff isn't that great. I think Midnight Magic could have been a lot better, perhaps if it was fleshed out better.

It's better than Bright Shadow, tho.

Oh, and by the way, Admin-people, I notice you've made it general location instead of city, state. Thanks. :-)
