The Wee Free Men
by Terry PratchettThis is an amazingly funny book about 9-year-old Tiffany Aching, who wants to become a witch. What she doesn't bargain for is the evil Queen of the Fairies to kidnap her little brother. Luckily, she has help from a clan of little blue men, who call themselves the Nac Mac Feegle (aka the Wee Free Men). This book, and the other two in the series, are all amazing!

This is one of my favorite books EVER. You should also read Hat Full of Sky, (the sequel) and Wintersmith (the last book in the trilogy).

Finally! people who appreciate Terry Pratchett! I have read all the books of the Wee Free Men, and I love their attitude!
I have also read a number of books by Terry Pratchett that are for adults, and I believe that he can write anything. I especially like Good Omens, which was co-authored by Neil Gaiman, who is also a great writer. (Has anyone read Coraline?)

This thread is a little old, but oh well. I LOVE Terry Pratchett! Throughout the whole Tiffany Aching series I ate fudge and drank tea while reading it, so now whenever I even smell maple fudge I think of Terry Pratchett. Has anyone read "Nation?" I loved that one just as much!
