Willy needs some money to pay bills and joins a sled race with his dog. He goes through a lot of tough times. And has a lot of adventurous fun. Willy also lost a bunch of stuff that means a lot to him. Wlly is a very hard working boy for his age. Will he win the race, or loose to the all time winner Stone Fox? Read the book to find out.

I think that this book is very sad. It is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time.

I remember reading that book in third grade. It was very good, yet very sad.
