Silverwing

Silverwing is a book about a young Sliverwing bat named Shade who is migrating with his colony. He gets separated from them and his quest is to find them. Along with the help of another bat named Marina, the two set off for adventure while Goth, a giant carnivore vampire bat, pursues them. This book is full of adventure and action, and is animal fantasy. The sequel, Sunwing, is good also, and the book after that, Firewing, is all right, but not as good as the first two. If you love animal fantasy, bats, or adventure, you'll love this book! Laughing

I LOVE that series. It's cool to see that other people appreciate Kenneth Oppel's writing. Have you read Airborn? That's another good book that he wrote.
