The Maze Runner

by James Dashner

Rattling wakes him up. He is in an enclosed space that seems to be moving. Where is he?

My name is Thomas.

Shouldn't a boy know more than that about himself? Well, Thomas doesn't. Something is wrong. He can't even remember his own age, who his parents are or where he came from. However, he doesn't feel unintelleigent. Memories are still there, but the faces.....the faces are blurred.

Welcome to the Glade, where the inhabitants, the Gladers, are going through the same ordeal as Thomas is. All share the same goal--solve the seemingly endless puzzle of the Maze that surrounds their walls and find a way home.

But the Maze is crafty. The walls shift every night and there seems to be exit. Only the Maze Runners are allowed to go outside the Walls. And rules are rules. Because if you decide to spend the night in the Maze, you might pay with your life.......
