Poetry Contest: Urrmsh Song

As Cymbril is saying good-bye to Urrt, one of the Urrmsh tells her that the song they are singing “is about you. It has only a beginning so far.” For this month’s poetry contest, we’d like you to write the words to a song the Urrmsh might sing.

Perhaps your song will be about Cymbril and Loric and their yearning for freedom. Or will it tell of the history of the Strongarms or the adventures of Urrt? You might write about Cymbril’s feelings—both happy and strangely sad—about leaving the Rake. If you do write about Cymbril, will your song, unlike the one the Urrmsh sing, have an ending?

Whether your song is about something that happens in the story, or you make up a new adventure, everybuggy will be tap dancing to the Cricket Country mailbox to sing your lyrics/poem of 24 lines or less—in English, please, not Urrmsh!
