ULTIMATE GUIDE TO KYNGDOM: THE KYNGDOM ACADEMY

In this realm of creativity filled with wonders abound, there exists another place shrouded by shadowed forms at the entrance to a cave that sits quietly, innocently, at the edge of the world. The cave is enticing, but behind it lies what you suspect to be an endless maze...Surely that place is filled with so many twists and turns that its wonders would be lost to you if you stumbled inside in search of the legends that you have heard swim within...If only you had a map, or some tool which you could use to navigate these intricate, treasure-filled caverns to the vast and extravagant world beyond...

Kyngdom is an expansive world that sits just on the other side of the Inkwell. It's been a part of the CB for more than three years, but over time, the land of Kyngdom has become more and more separate, its borders growing farther away from the rest of the CB. Its history is elaborate--a captivating story that is worth every drop of time you spend listening to it. Sadly, not many these days know its tales.

This is your ultimate guide to Kyngdom. There has never been a thread like it before. If you've ever had any questions or curiosities about Kyngdom, here is the place we will put them to rest.

WHAT IS KYNGDOM?

Kyngdom is a world which vibrates with the life we have breathed into it; it's something special, like a clock with all the gears turning in sync. There's a place here for everyone--Kyngdom is open, its gates are flung wide, and it has so much color and depth, with genres for everyone.

Two twin peaks, on the top of which once sat a laboratory belonging to the Brazen Inquiry Guild. It was destroyed by a raging Gryphon and an angry Clawed Serpent.

A secret agency of animals whose base is underground. They seek to subdue the Powers for the good of Kyngdom & the animal world.

An army rising, headed by a boy who was once king of all the land. He has returned to take back what was once his, with a tormented past hanging behind him like a gaunt, torturous shadow. Who is he, and who will he become?

Six Powers and their mistakes at the root of the problem, fighting a neverending battle. Who will reign supreme? Is there even such a thing as good and evil anymore?

Travelers caught in the fray, who still find the time to admire the little things in life and observe the chaos around them from a distance.

There are lands far off on the edges of Kyngdom too. Places even the most intrepid explorers haven't dared to go. Will you be the first to find these lands? Your dedication will be rewarded.

Maybe you don't have time to join the world. That's understandable! But as a Chatterboxer, discovering more about this integral piece of the CB is a valuable experience.

Maybe you like how Kyngdom sounds, but it's all too confusing to leap into. Well, this thread is here for you! The Kyngdom Academy will answer any and all questions you have.

So, what is Kyngdom? Kyngdom is the roleplay that's lived for three years. Kyngdom is the roleplay that never sinks to the back pages. What better place to express your creativity than here?

Let the lesson commence. A lot of hard work from many Kyngdomers has gone into this guide, so we hope you enjoy it!

-Davina and Kimi successfully steal the drum, after forcing the pirates to surrender. Just as the two escape, Selena Evadere [the pirate captain] shouts that the drum is a fake. On a Thunderbird carriage, the thieves make it from Mer (a trade city in southwestern Kyngdom) to northeastern Kyngdom, heading northeast.

-Upon reaching northeastern Kyngdom, Davina and Kimi crash land right outside of Jokull (one of Catastrophe’s bases.) Three new recruits, headed by General Cendaren Caligo, head to the scene.

-Skylar arrives at the scene. Caligo and his recruits take Davina, Kimi, and Skylar prisoner. The soldiers also take the drum.

-As they are being taken prisoner, the thieves attempt to flee. Acting on instinct, Tsuki shoots Davina even though deep down she doesn’t want to. Moments later, Tsuki discovers she has light powers.

-Powerful light shoots out of Tsuki, healing Davina. Unfortunately, Tsuki’s magic transfers the wound to herself. This causes a bit of chaos, as can be imagined.

-Meanwhile, an alchemist named Saoirse, her pet gargoyle Granite, and her friend Raven Shadows gain access to the facility. Saoirse becomes a scientist for Catastrophe, seeking adventure. She is not loyal to Catastrophe, though.

-It turns out that Tsuki and Raven are old friends. When the two parties convene at Jokull, Saoirse heals Tsuki using a special potion.

-Saoirse settles into her role as scientist and discovers that the hallucinations of the Decoy Forest come from the sap in the trees. She devises a soul-purifying weapon from this, but keeps the discovery and weapon secret.

-Deeja reveals that she is a Resistance spy named Fahada to Saoirse, Raven, and Tsuki. The three new recruits, who were not originally loyal to Catastrophe, begin to plot ways to rebel in their positions. Ashzan Moksovinan, however, slowly begins to accept her role in the army.

-Kimi, Davina, and Skylar are interrogated several times, but they do not reveal that the drum is fake. During one of these occasions, Tsuki loses her own hand while saving Kimi’s and it gets replaced with a robotic one built by Saoirse. The hand helps Tsuki control her magic.

-The Sanukan Army launches a surprise attack on Jokull. In the chaos, Tsuki and Deeja free Kimi, Davina, and Skylar.

-General Grimm has been spying on the disloyal recruits and discovers their plot to free Kimi, Skylar, and Davina. He shoots Deeja, who fires back before dying. Grimm dies as well.

-Tsuki convinces Ashzan to leave the army and the two both defect from Catastrophe’s army. (Ashzan almost stayed.) She and Tsuki join the Sanukans as assassins; after nearly killing one another, they have reconciled.

-Kimi, Davina, and Skylar make their way to the Sanukan medical tents. Skylar goes off on her own, abandoning the group.

-Saoirse, Granite, and Raven loot the entire Jokull laboratory, taking things such as blueprints, weapons, and even the fake drum. They also go off on their own, for safety.

-The battle ends with no clear victor. Cendaren Caligo puts a bounty on the traitorous recruits’ heads and becomes the Head General of Jokull.

-An animal organization named the Red Paw comes from lands outside Kyngdom. They form an alliance with FaFA. The Resistance sends members to meet with them, but no alliance is formed.

-At the top of Bleak Peak, the old BIG base is mysteriously rebuilt. The darker remains of SOCS and BIG team up, and they are blended with Catastrophe’s forces. In a series of mysterious meetings, it becomes apparent to a few keen onlookers that something important is going to happen here. Catastrophe is plotting something on Bleak Peak. Skylar the thief shows up here and meets Ajana and Lihim, two traitors.

-The Sideaffected Powers meet Demise, an ancient monster. Demise teams up with Jaaws and Whist out of an interest in killing Sylvia. Jaaws and the SAPs are trying to hypnotize all the Powers using a special Brazen Goo that alters a Power’s mind, and Sylvia is the only one who can stop them.

-Jaaws, Whist, and Caelani head towards Jokull after hearing that Sylvia’s drum might be there. They split up, and on the way, Whist stops at Mer and feeds on the darkness of Rose, a human, and Sybill, a wolf. [These were the insane pair who took over The Animals group for evil purposes.] Rose and Sybill join up with Whist and also journey to Jokull.

-Ecio and Ayearth go to the Secret Forest to search for Sylvia. Remember, although nobody knew it, Sylvia was summoned hundreds of years ago, and she lived in secret until now.

-Ecio and Ayearth discover Sylvia and her foal. Using her magic, Sylvia is able to free Ecio and Ayearth from Jaaws’s hold.

-Ecio and Ayearth meet Ciaran, Sylvia’s foal. The group decides to head to the Nocturnal, a group that inhabits the Secret Forest, for safety. This group is comprised of animals and humans who worship Lunee.

And with that, we begin…

The Power of Howl I: The Search For Lunee

Written by Sybill and Hazel

Character Guide

Kosomi Ramabasa - Queen of the Homo Aquarians. Rules from their capital, on the island of Tekabwitan. Has four arms and orange tentacles. A Priestess of the Nocturnal. Played by Sybill.

Sancta - The Soulbeing, a being with power over souls who does not age. Has been a Priestess of the Nocturnal since ancient times. Played by Night Whispers.

Before we begin, let’s take some time to explain who the Nocturnal are, because they’re pretty important. The Nocturnal are a secret organization who worship Lunee. They are led by Head Priests. Their members are posing as members of organizations such as Catastrophe’s Army, the Resistance, and FaFA, so they can gain information about the war. They also protect and preserve ancient artifacts and much of Kyngdom’s history. Their HQ is in the Temple in the Secret Forest.

Also, this next part actually took place during the fifth section of the Power of Hoof, but it made more sense for organizational reasons to put it here.

-The Nocturnal send two of their most talented priests, Queen Kosomi Ramabasa and Sancta, on a quest to find Moonshadow.

-They find him two days later and convince him to come back to the Temple with them. They also tell him of their plans to awaken Lunee, which he is still a little uneasy about.

Various Loose Ends: As of right now

-A group of misfits are gathered in the forest, learning more about each other and Kyngdom itself.

-Trouble is stirring, way down south in the Grasplands, where Catastrophe has begun to collect strange flowers…

-The Animals are slowly realizing the evil intentions of their leaders.

Apologies if the formatting was altered.

Here's another update. All credit goes to Hazel.

-BIG's lab is mysteriously rebuilt on Bleak Peak. Catastrophe is behind this, of course, and he is using the lab as a place to secretly study the mystery of an ancient portal, which ties into his quest to find the three Artifacts. (Additionally, bottomless pits have recently opened up in southeast and northeast Kyngdom, which are also related to this portal mystery.)

- Jaaws sends Ecio and Ayearth to follow a lead on Sylvia in the Secret Forest. They find Sylvia, but she cures them of their hypnosis. The Powers end up at the Nocturnal, where Lunee's horn has been delivered, and plan to summon Lunee. Jaaws and Whist fly to the Secret Forest to stop them. They conceive a plot to kidnap Sylvia's foal.

- Hazel, leader of the Elites (who want to find out how to defeat Jaaws) is separated from her team. She ends up at the Nocturnal, where she hopes to discover the key to Jaaws's demise. So far, the search has yielded no results.

- In the Grasplands, on the very border of southeast Kyngdom, Catastrophe is hailed as a hero because he keeps it from being invaded by outside countries. We started an RP here for new Kyngdomers to get a feel for things. In the Grasplands, Catastrophe harvests tons of Brazen Goo flowers; the Black Skull interferes with Sanukan trade; the Resistance attempts to retain a presence in the shadows and find a way to undermine Catastrophe's rule here. Ultimately, Sanukaville and the Resistance form an alliance with one another to stop the Black Skull. Will they succeed? Who knows...the RP is still in progress.

- Also, Ronan appears in the Grasplands! He's been hiding out here for a while, but he rescues a strange old man named Eron who apparently has orders to keep Ronan from being seen...Can't wait to see where this mystery goes.

- The pur Keteque family decides it's a good idea to host a masquerade ball in celebration of the coming of winter. Several factions arrive, most with the intention of securing funding from the various Nobyl families in attendance. Jaaws possesses Rose/Karune and together, they infiltrate the ball to hypnotize the Nobyls and force them into funding Catastrophe. *hesitant evil laughter* The ball is still going on right now, so we'll see how it all pans out.

And that's about it. The stakes are rising!

Sorry in advance for weird formatting.

In the Grasplands (by Luminescence, contributions from Nyx and Luna-Starr):

- Ronan is on a search for Eron, who has gone missing and still has a twisted ankle. His next stop is the hospital.

- Kimi and Davina are still in the hospital.

- Eron was actually captured by the Black Skull, and just escaped with Lysette who was captured for reasons unknown to herself. They are currently lost.

- Kirah, Dar'sava, Griffe, and the Sanukans were successful in their mission: They took out R'oko and rescued Jasper and Smoke. On their way back, they discovered a mysterious sinkhole in a farmer's land. They left quickly because some Catastrophe officials were beginning to grow suspicious about them, but they notified Hviti about this. Now they're back at Spiaggia.

- Jira is currently in Spiaggia as well, but she’s with Catastrophe and his army. Right now she’s wandering around…

- Ember and Eniyan have successfully negotiated an alliance of the Resistance and Sanukaville.

On Bleak Peak (by Bakerloo):

- Catastrophe is currently on Bleak Peak trying to open a mysterious portal. The origin and purpose of this portal is unknown to the Resistance, but there are suspicions that the portal is linked to mysterious bottomless pits that are appearing around Kyngdom...

In the Nocturnal (by Luna-Starr):

- It starts with the Nocturnal- a cult of animals who worship Lunee- sending a Homo Aquarius named Kosomi and a... (I'm not sure what exactly she is, to be honest XD) named Sancta to find Moonshadow, the Guardian of the Power of Howl.

- After a couple encounters with Catastrophe soldiers, they find him and bring him back to the Temple of the Nocturnal. There, they meet up with Sylvia, her foal Cairan, Ecio, Ayearth, and some of the Nocturnal's High Priests. The three Powers and Cairan just came from a run-in with Jaaws, Whist, and Caelani (who is hypnotized by Jaaws).

- While the Nocturnal are preparing to summon Lunee, the Powers explore the Temple, and Jaaws, Whist and Caelani catch up to them. Jaaws is going to do anything she can to stop Lunee from being summoned.

- Cairan wanders through the Temple and sees an illusion Jaaws is casting. In the illusion, Jaaws shows Lunee being summoned only to turn on her siblings and kill the powers. Jaaws does this to try and turn Cairan on the powers, then she hypnotizes Cairan.

- Just after this, the summoning of Lunee begins. Jaaws sends Caelani to distract the Powers and do whatever it takes to keep Lunee from being summoned. Caelani waits until the last second before swooping down into the scene to try to distract everyone, but fails.

- Caelani returns to Jaaws, who is completely enraged and determined to use her Brazen Goo to seduce the Powers. While she works through this, Lunee is finally summoned.

So... this is pretty much where we are. Sancta has a special connection to Lunee that I don't completely understand. The Nocturnal and the Powers know Jaaws is here because they saw Caelani, and they know she has Cairan.

At the Pre-Winter Masquerade (by Luna-Starr):

- Members from many different factions of the war effort are in attendance- there's a large group of Resistance members, two from FAFA, one from Sanukaville, and at least one for Catastrophe.

- The Ball is hosted by the Nobyls- the top of Kyngdom's social hierarchy. Most of the others in attendance think the Nobyls are ignorant. One of the Nobyls there is Rose/Karune pur Lamour, who is being controlled by Jaaws. (Note- this is happening after the summoning of Lunee.)

- After some forced pleasantries for many of those present, Karune goes off to the side and, using a special knife, hyptonizes a Resistance rep named Kamau.

- The Sanukaville rep, Gamgi, approaches the other Resistance members and the two from FAFA. One Resistance member mentions Kamau's disappearance, and Gamgi suggests they go looking for him- Balls have a bad track record when it comes to this stuff.

- The group finds Kamau just after he has been hypnotized. There are no signs of the hypnosis, but they're suspicious of his disappearance.

- Sancta from the Nocturnal might make an appearance.

-Crystal finds Hazel, who is lost. She invites her to come to the Temple.

-The Powers are suspicious of Hazel, but Kosomi convinces them she’s trustworthy. Hazel is allowed to enter the Temple.

-The Powers begin to prepare for Lunee’s summoning. Kosomi sneaks away from the group and finds Hazel in the library. The two bond over a shared love of literature.

-Jaaws and Whist discover the location of the Temple, and also the existence of Ciaran. They argue over what to do, but eventually decide on brainwashing and kidnapping the foal.

-Whist creates animals made of fog, who lure Ciaran out of the Temple. Ciaran is shown a vision of Lunee killing Sylvia, which is created by Jaaws.

-The fog animals tell Ciaran that Lunee is planning to kill him. Terrified, he flees deeper into the woods--where Jaaws is waiting for him.

-Jaaws tricks Ciaran into believing she’s going to help him. Once she gains his trust, she brainwashes him.

-The ceremony to summon Lunee begins without anyone noticing Ciaran is gone. Jaaws realizes the ceremony is happening and sends a mind-controlled Caelani to stop it.

-Caelani, in his crow form, attempts to draw the Powers away. But they aren’t convinced it's safe to follow him, and he fails.

-Moonshadow is nervous about summoning Lunee, so Seze does it for him. Jaaws is enraged when she hears the call of the horn, and Whist flees with the kidnapped Ciaran.

-Lunee is awakened, and thanks Sancta for staying with her for so long--revealing Sancta’s true age. Lunee senses Jaaws’s presence, and demands they take shelter in the Temple. Sylvia realizes her son is missing and wants to search for him.

-Kosomi and Hazel sneak away to the library to find books on Jaaws’s origin, so they can learn how to defeat her. Seze soon interrupts, telling them that the Temple has been set on fire.

-Jaaws is the one who set fire to the Temple. Seze, Moonshadow, Crystal, Kosomi, Hazel, Sancta, and the Powers narrowly escape.

-Kosomi, Hazel, Moonshadow, and Seze find a stone xylophone and a glass armonica in the woods--clearly, Ayearth and Ecio lost a fight to Jaaws. Kosomi, who is a Homo Aquarius and therefore part sea serpent, is able to summon Ayearth once more.

-Ayearth is displeased that a “half-human” was able to summon him. Kosomi finally snaps and calls Ayearth the “most disgusting, vile creature” she’d ever met. Ayearth is taken aback by her anger, and decides to go look for Sylvia.

-The Powers regroup and meet back up with Kosomi, Seze, Moonshadow, and Hazel. Lunee entrusts Kosomi with protecting Ecio’s instrument, warning her to not summon him until it’s safer. Kosomi decides to travel on her own at this point.

-The group eventually splits up, the Powers going together and the remains of the Nocturnal attempting to regroup. It can be assumed that around this point, Kosomi gives up her status as Queen.

- Coryli gives Caligo tea mixed with light magic, hoping to cure Caligo of Jaaws’s influence.

-Not long after, a mysterious sinkhole opens up in a small town that belongs to neither the Sanukans nor Catastrophe’s Army. Caligo himself, as well as Tsuki and Victor’s wife, Rubiana, all decide to investigate.

-With Caligo gone, Sanders orders Coryli and Ashzan to be imprisoned. He searches Coryli’s room and finds vials of light magic.

“In the Grasplands, on the very border of southeast Kyngdom, Catastrophe is hailed as a hero because he keeps it from being invaded by outside countries. Catastrophe harvests tons of Brazen Goo flowers; the Black Skull interferes with Sanukan trade; the Resistance attempts to retain a presence in the shadows and find a way to undermine Catastrophe's rule here.”

-Ember Soleil encounters a group of Catastrophe soldiers gathering white flowers. On her way back to her home, Eniyan begins to follow her.

-She takes shelter in a nearby tavern, where Jasper helps her hide in the tavern cellar. Kirah, going under the code name “Ferox,” is posing as a Catastrophe soldier. Dar’sava is in the tavern as well.

-Eniyan bribes the tavern keeper into telling him where Ember is. Kirah knocks Eniyan unconscious just before he finds Ember.

-Dar’sava helps them tie up Eniyan. Jasper reluctantly tags along with Kirah, Ember, and Dar’sava, who head to the nearest Resistance safehouse.

-The safehouse is run by Captain R’oko. When they get there, they encounter Jira. R’oko lets her stay at the safehouse, and the Resistance members pretend that Eniyan is their ‘patient’ so she doesn’t get suspicious.

-Catastrophe’s soldiers burn down the tavern, and begin a search for Ember. In their investigation of all nearby houses, they come to the safehouse. Ember temporarily disables Eniyan’s tracker.

-Catastrophe’s soldiers are evidently aware that this is a safehouse, and bring along Cadao, whose parents have died in the tavern fire, as a hostage. They threaten to hurt him if the Resistance members don’t willingly come with them.

-In retaliation, Dar’sava threatens to kill Eniyan if the Catastrophe soldiers do anything to Cadao. Unfortunately, the soldiers have already taken Jasper and R’oko hostage. Dar’sava is forced to surrender, but Kirah and Ember manage to escape. Jira decides to momentarily team up with Catastrophe’s soldiers.

-The soldiers tell Eniyan that in order to prove his loyalty, he will decide whether Cadao survives or not. The soldiers leave. Kirah and Ember run back into the safehouse to save Cadao.

-Eniyan, however, has spared Cadao. He explains to Kirah and Ember he was never very loyal to Catastrophe. They let Eniyan and Cadao escape, and then they go to save the others.

-Kirah and Ember open fire on Catastrophe’s soldiers. Eniyan and Cadao show up to help them.

-After the battle has ended, Jira saves the life of a Catastrophe soldier and runs away. Smoke shows up and helps them treat their wounds.

-Griffe shows up and offers to take them somewhere safe. Eniyan, Ember and Cadao decide to go with him. They go to a safehouse, hidden inside a tree, where Griffe’s sister forges weapons.

-Smoke, R’oko, and Jasper go to another Resistance safehouse. Dar’sava and Kirah are the only two left. Kirah begins to head back to the Catastrophe base she was spying at, but a paper falls from her pocket. Dar’sava picks it up, but she’s gone before he can give it to her. He decides to go with R’oko and the others.

-Meanwhile, Kimi and Davina have been sent to the Grasplands to investigate the attacks on Sanukan traders. They stay with Hviti at the Sanukan base, and hear about a Resistance member being on the run from Catastrophe.

-The next morning, Kirah goes to the safehouse to get the paper from Dar’sava. It turns out to be a letter from Owena Rayvin, Kirah’s deceased friend.

-Kimi and Davina make a surprise appearance at the safehouse. They’ve come to negotiate an alliance between the Sanukans and the Resistance.

-R’oko says that in order to form an alliance, they’ll need permission from higher-ups. He sends Dar’sava and Kirah to the Catastrophe-infested city of Omrakh, to contact a hacker named Mongoose. Mongoose is the only one with a machine that can send the ETL device the Grasplands Resistance uses to communicate. Davina and Kimi head back to the Sanukan HQ.

-Smoke, Jasper and R’oko take a decoy ETL device to a different city in order to keep Catastrophe’s soldiers from getting the real one. Kirah and Dar’sava meet up with Mongoose.

-Mongoose tells Dar’sava and Kirah the ETL is rigged to explode. They find a coyote hair in it and realize R’oko is actually working for Catastrophe. This explains how the soldiers knew Ember was hiding at the safehouse.

-Selena Evadere is determined to redeem herself after her failure at the Flea Market. She’s taken a mysterious job transporting logs to a port in the Grasplands.

-The Sanukans discover this job is being paid for by the Black Skull, who are actually transporting explosives that will destroy the Sanukan HQ. Hviti sends Davina and Kimi to stop the ship before it reaches Spiaggia, where the Sanukan HQ is. They have learned this from a mole in the Black Skull whose identity is unknown.

-Adrion K’rosi is the representative from the Black Skull. He meets with Selena Evadere in the town of Nevaru. Davina and Kimi attack as the deal is being sealed, damaging the sails of Selena’s ship.

-It turns out there were bombs stored in the money given to Selena. The bombs were rigged to explode as soon as Selena made it to the nearby town of Spiaggia--however, Davina and Kimi accidentally set off the explosives in their ambush.

-Most of Selena’s crew perishes, and she herself is injured so badly she falls into a coma. Kimi and Davina are hurt, but they manage to treat most of their wounds with what supplies they can scavenge from the town. They find Selena, and a flare gun, which they fire.

-Adrion was injured, but he managed to escape from the town. Eniyan, Ember, and Griffe see the explosion and fire from the safehouse, as well as the flare. They decide to investigate, and meet Davina, Kimi, and Selena.

-Ember helps them treat their wounds. The group managed to make it to Spiaggia. Jira joins them along the way--though nearly everyone is untrusting of her now. She leaves the group and heads off to find some of Catastrophe’s soldiers to put out the fire.

-As they get closer to Spiaggia, they encounter Dar’sava and Kirah. Dar’sava and Kirah agree to come with them, as they want their help dealing with R’oko.

-A mysterious boy, who Catastrophe’s soldiers are looking for, meets an even more mysterious elderly man named Eron. The two of them also head towards Spiaggia, as Eron’s ankle is broken and he needs to see a medic. This boy is Ronan.

-Hviti is waiting for Davina and Kimi at the Sanukan outpost in Spiaggia. They are welcomed inside, and also sent to a hospital. Selena is sent to the hospital as well. Dar’sava and Kirah ask for Hviti’s help in dealing with R’oko.

-Hviti sends some Sanukan soldiers with Dar’sava and Kirah to fight R’oko. Eniyan and Ember stay behind to officially form an alliance between the Resistance and the Sanukan Army.

-In the meantime, Adrion heals his injuries using some sort of dark magic. He hears about something strange on a farm, and goes to investigate. Adrion discovers a strange black pit that suddenly appeared in the field nearby. He believes it may be connected to Catastrophe’s experiments on Bleak Peak.

-Kirah and Dar’sava take out R’oko and free Jasper and Smoke with the help of the Sanukan soldiers. On their way back, they stop at the farm with the black pit--though by this point, Adrion is long gone.

-Lysette Ryune is staying at a boarding house in the Grasplands. She isn’t part of the Resistance, but unlike most people in the Grasplands she’s very open about her dislike of Catastrophe. The Black Skull, however, believes she is a secret Resistance member. They send a group of soldiers to her room and kidnap her.

-Ronan and Eron make it to Spiaggia, but are separated. Eron is also captured by the Black Skull, and ends up in a cell next to Lysette. Adrion K’rosi is assigned to interrogate him, but the interrogations don’t go well--after all, Lysette isn’t actually a Resistance member and doesn’t even have information to give.

-Lysette and Eron begin to make a plan to escape. Adrion lets Catastrophe himself know they’ve captured Eron. They make plans to move him to a prison on Bleak Peak--Catastrophe is very serious about keeping Eron captive.

-Somehow, Eron manages to create a portal of sorts. Lysette and Eron are warped back to Spiaggia, not far from the hospital.

-Ronan makes it to the hospital. He begins to search for Eron. While sneaking around the halls, a strange cloaked person crashes into him, then vanishes.

-Eniyan and Ember decide to visit Davina and Kimi in the hospital. Along the way they meet Eron and Lysette, who they take with them.

-Kirah and Dar’sava spend the night in a nearby hotel. They can hear the howls of wolves just outside…

-Catastrophe arrives at the secret Black Skull base where Lysette and Ekron had been. Since the prisoners had escaped, the Black Skull simply gives Catastrophe a description of the escapees. They question him about his mysterious base on Bleak Peak, but do not receive any answers.

-Eniyan leaves the hospital and something strange happens to him--he suddenly loses all free will, and tries to take Kirah and Dar’sava captive.

-Kirah and Dar’sava manage to knock Eniyan unconscious, and they call Ember. They believe that Eniyan has been possessed by something.

-Ember arrives, along with Lysette and Jira. Moments after they arrive, so does a Reptithilan-- this is Karthicha.

-After a quick fight, Karthicha is bound, and then General Hviti calls Kirah, demanding they hurry back to the base. Hviti is already aware of Karthicha being there-- he has received a tip from an anonymous source. This ‘source’ is likely the same mole who told Hviti about the planned bombing of Nevaru and Spiaggia.

-The group decides to go back to the base as quickly as possible. Jira leads them, but it becomes apparent that she’s not totally sure of where she’s going. After leading them into a group of Catastrophe’s soldiers, some members of the group begin to question her trustworthiness.

-Eniyan and Ember go somewhere to deal with Eniyan’s possession, while Dar’sava and Kirah go with Hviti to interrogate Karthicha.

-During the interrogation, they learn that Catastrophe has been searching for Ronan in the Grasplands.

-Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Davina learns of her father’s death. Before she can recover from the shock of it, there’s a loud crash from Kimi’s room.

-Davina rushes to Kimi’s aid, and finds that Kimi is fighting with a mysterious, cloaked assassin. They manage to subdue the assassin, and remove their hood to see that they are a racoon anthro--just like Kimi. This means they are also from the Decoy Forest--even though it was believed that Kimi was the only surviving member of her tribe.
