Septimus Heap Vortex@Septimus Heap: They're working on a rewrite of the script. It's on the way, it's on the way…

Also, I'm mildly looking forward to City of Bones.

Blue MoonParticipantOctober 12 — Pokemon X and Y
Judging by the 'sneak peeks' that have been released so far, the new games are going to be a disaster, but I'm going to get them anyway.
-
Theo W. ParticipantYes! Svlyeon, right? I'm not going to play it, but still….

Isn't there supposed to be a sequel to Thor? Ugh… my friend and I were talking about it. Doubting anyone would watch it, and not doubting it would get a generous helping of Razzie awards.. 😀

Asgard@ Blackberry E.:
Yes, my friend, there is going to be a sequel to Thor and I will watch it, excuse me. I happen to like it very much for the following reasons: it is more or less based on mythology (which is neat), Thor is a very reassuring and realistic hero, Loki is a very well acted and convincing villain, and I think the whole premise is quite neat.
Fangirling over.

@Everinne: Let's agree to disagree. Thor looks and acts like Anakin.in other words, a girl. He's all about "friendship" and "loyalty" and "kindness" I find that annoying, especially when it gets in the way of being an Avenger, cause he thinks he can save everyone. As Count Dooku told Qui-Gon when Qui-Gon was his Padawan in words to this affect: "The galaxy is huge. You just can't save everyone."

Asgard@ Blackberry E.:
All right, I'll agree to disagree about Thor as a hero. But you didn't say there's anything wrong with Loki. As far as I can tell…there is nothing to complain about with him, either as an actor or character.
-
Blackberry E.Participant13
@Everinne: Sure, Loki's all right. He's a bad guy… what's not to like? Just apart from the fact that cool bad guys are gothic and really big deal evil. Like Von Strucker. I just think Lok's not as professional as he could be.

Asgard@ Blackberry E.:
All right, I don't want to start a war here, so after this post, I shall retire from this argument with grace.
From how I see it, Loki is only "evil" because he is more or less a victim of circumstance. He was always in Thor's shadow and not even Odin's son, but the child of the "enemy" so he can't be very happy about that. That's why he rebels, if you will. He isn't really a "villain," not the real villain, that is. Like how Luke is only Cronus's puppet in Percy Jackson, and Loki is (in the Avengers at least) acting at the bidding of someone else. So he can't be measured against other villains on quite the same barometer. And what do you mean by "Gothic?" He has dark hair and that pale complexion thing going on; he seems Gothic enough to me.

Theo W. ParticipantWait a second…..
HOUSE OF HADES comes out on the same day as WILL IN SCARLET! Inconcievable!
Not trying to sound angry but…,
MATTHEW CODY ANNOUNCED HIS EXACT DATE FIRST! IT WAS STILL JUST 'FALL' FOR HOUSE OF HADES WHEN I KNEW WILL IN SCARLET WAS ON OCTOBER EIGHTH! WHICH I SPELLED EIGHTH WRONG I BELIEVE!!!
Okay, I'm done. I just noticed that. What a coinencedence. Does this mean no one will notice WILL IN SCARLET because of HOUSE OF HADES!? I'm going to read both, but WILL IN SCARLET preferably first. You know what? I'll be okay. As long as I can read WILL IN SCARLET. I just noticed October Eighth……………

MelodyParticipant15
DisneySorry, buddy, but I didn't know about this Will in Scarlet book until you just mentioned it.
Did I mention Once Upon A Time in Wonderland? Because that's also totally happening.
-
Theo W. ParticipantIt's okay…. Hey, he's changed the cover a bit! It's even more awesome than before!

AsgardTom Hiddleston and Jeremy Irons are starring in this PBS rendition of Shakespeare's "Henriad," which I guess is his collection of kingly plays (excluding King Lear, however.) It's called The Hollow Crown and is premeiring on September 20th, I believe, and I oddly can't wait to watch it. A, I love Shakespeare and, B, I'm a fan of both the aforementioned actors.

Watching a MovieOkay, does anyone else want to see Grace Unplugged?! I really really REALLY want to see this movie. Probably more than I wanted to see Sea of Monsters (and I REALLY wanted to see that). It looks like it's going to be a really inspirational movie, and I can't wait till it comes out October 4. No matter what, I'm going to see that.

Upcoming Releases!!Anybody excited for Days of Future Past for X-men?? Or Divergent and Catching Fire??
-
MelodyParticipant15
DisneyI'm really excited about Divergent and Catching Fire. The first Catching Fire soundtrack single, Atlas, came out. It's really cool-sounding.
