Arendelle@ Arianne:
I read the real Snow Queen story recently, and I like how Disney changed it. I mean, it isn't really at all that similar to the short story, but I think it was cooler because of the sisterly thing and the Snow Queen (Elsa) wasn't a villainess.

Exactly what I thought! I also felt it was a bit interesting that the troll was evil in the Snow Queen story, but in Frozen the trolls were nice, saving Anna. Also how in the Snow Queen a girl saved a boy who was her friend but in Frozen a sister saved another.

Nora the SingerParticipantAll right. Tangled was pretty freaking awesome. 'Nuff said.
Brave just didn't capture my attention enough. It just…ehh. It was nice; I loved the characters and everything, but it didn't…stick.
Frozen I hate and love for a variety of reasons.
Pros:
– amazing animation
– great characters
– awesome songs
– when you look at it in depth, it's quite relatable
Cons:
– it wasn't realistic. If Anna froze completely, I'm sorry, but she can't just come back to life.
– it said that love was the answer to everything, which is lovely but way too repetitive and unoriginal.
– Okay, so the snowman can talk, yet the actual animal, the reindeer, can't?
– I HATE, HATE how Anna's all like, "You kind of set off an eternal winter…everywhere." GIRL, IT'S BEEN LIKE THREE DAYS! HOW WOULD YOU KNOW THAT IT'S A) ETERNAL AND B) EVERYWHERE? THAT WAS NEVER DISCUSSED!
– ALSO, IT COPIED THE LION KING.
If you look at it…
1. The main character runs away out of fear (Simba and Elsa).
2. They then proceed to sing a song about just going with the flow and not worrying (Hakuna Matata; Let it Go).
3. The bad guy tells them they're the cause of a loved one's death (Scar to Simba regarding Mufasa's death; Hans to Elsa regarding Anna's).
4. When they run away, they have no idea that everything is screwed up back home (the kingdom in Africa suffering without Simba; Arendelle in an eternal winter).
5. They have funny sidekick characters (Timon and Pumbaa; Sven and Olaf).
On a side note, I think I'm the only human being who liked Sven more than Olaf. Olaf was funny, but…eh. Sven was hilarious.
Another side note – Studies show that people who wear gloves are hiding something. Elsa was, obviously, but who else? Hans.

As you can see, I did not mention spoilers in this post as I assumed that anyone who visits the thread will have seen Tangled, Brave, and Frozen already.-

Go SvenInteresting points about Frozen's similarity to The Lion King. Maybe that's why I like both of them so much?
Well, the winter could be pretty eternal if it comes in the middle of summer, but I do see that Anna doesn't know it's everywhere–just in Arendelle.
Really hilarious point about Hans's gloves. I wonder if they did that on purpose.

Nora the SingerParticipantI have no idea if the gloves were intentional, but it's still pretty hilarious either way. 😛
