Story SpinnerParticipantI need to post in little short bits because my cat is really sick and I want to be with her; also I have an obligation to write this, so I compromise. I will post soon, don't fret.
-
Curio and DiParticipantOh, no! Poor cat! Poor YOU!
This is officially my signup for the attack team! Count me in! Check! One purple dragon, coming ri-
Di. Please. We have morals to uphold.
No we don't. This is an alternate universe, remember? Wingnut and TARDISrider and all the others aren't really dead. Therefore, nothing really matters here.
Fair point…oh, what the heck, I'm joining the attack team too. I have some offensive spells I need to practice.

Story SpinnerParticipantDay 6 Part III (Hopefully last)
Elsa nervously shifted from cat to cat-girl in a blur. Her features were masked behind the whirling shape, and her fur was flying. "Could you please stop that?" Elvina, who was on Elsa's attack patrol, growled irritably. "I'm semiallergic to cat furze." Elsa made an effort to stop shifting shape, a cloud of fur settling around her. "Sorry, I get like that when I'm nervous," she apologized. Elvina waved some fur away. "Whatever. Let's focus on defeating Gelato." TARDISrider looked up. "I actually like gelato," she (?) complained. The three, as well as Fruit Basket, turned their attention to the present. Gelato was currently throwing bombs of (what else) gelato at Aquina and Shifting's army of sharks and things. They bravely faced it, Dapple the Whale Shark eating most of the gelato. Aquina gave a piercing whistle, which should've been impossible in the undersea battle. But she did do it, and a dark shape came speeding from the distance. Everyone stood still, the battle stopped, as the figure drew nearer. It became apparent that it was the shape of a giant squid. Kraken, to be precise. Shifting gasped in admiration. "Where'd you get that?" Aquina brushed off the question, whispering something in the kraken's ear. It cocked a tentacle and sped off to Team Gelato's main vessel. The leaders in the vessel shocked the guests of Prismarine into silence. They were two dragons, one disreputable and the other curious. Di and Curio.
Scylla, standing on the back of a giant sea turtle, rode up to Curio. She tossed back her hood, revealing an utterly disfigured face. One eye was scratched out and a jagged scar ran down her face from hairline to chin, straight down the center. She signaled to the CBers to continue on while she confronted Curio. And so the battle went on.
Unbeknownst to everyone else, in the heat of battle, the murderer slipped away to a Team Gelato submersible. It knocked the "secret" knock and was let into the vessel. Conversing in hushed tones with the captain of the submarine, it discussed which CBer it wanted to kill. The captain nodded, fear lighting in its eyes, before stepping back to allow the murderer free reign with the controls. It targeted Ookz, centering the death ray gelato beam control on the oblivious CAPTCHA. It made sure its reading was accurate before firing the beam. It captured Ookz, incinerating him. Abigail, nearby, gasped in horror. Scylla turned around, and upon seeing that Ookz was killed, called to Prismarine to retreat. The murderer tipped its armor helmet to the Gelato captain, exiting the submersible. It joined the other guests unnoticed as they filed back to the hotel.
"We have a casualty to report," Scylla announced later that night. "Ookz, Abigail S.'s faithful CAPTCHA. His loyalty will be remembered to the end in the fight against Team Gelato. We weree unable to recover his body, but his memory lives on in each of you." She gazed over the assembled crowd, centering on the murderer. It shifted uneasily under her intense glare, but she moved on. "All but the murderer," she spat. "It killed Ookz in cold blood and cares nothing for him. We will old a memorial at dawn."

R.I.S. Ookz. Rest In Seabed. This is my longest yet! Such an accomplishment.

Gallifray. . .
Um…
You killed my counterpart.
She died.
Remember? 'R.I.S.B., TARDISrider. Resit in shark belly.'
?
It's on the fourth page.
Tai says you can bring her back if you want.
But in my opinion, I have a better chance of defeating the world without her. Please just leave her.
Taxi: Jerk
Ditty: Thank you.
-
Story SpinnerParticipantNaturally, I can't even remember who I killed off, even though I had my chart RIGHT NEXT TO ME. I am changing TARDISrider's appearance in that installation to Shadow Dragon.

Abi, A, & Ghost of OParticipant11
Nose in a BookNOOOO! Poor Ookz!
*sobs*
At least we're still alive!
You jinxed it. One of us will die for sure in the next thing, now you've said that!
Pfft. I don't believe in that stuff anyway.
It's going to be you. Ohmygosh, everyone is dying! It is SCARY!
This is a murder mystery. Why did you join if you don't like death?
Because it's SCARY!
(Psst, Scylla, I think that Abi's brain warped from the shock of Ookz dying. Why don't you finish her off?)
No way! Finish HER off! Nobody really dies, anyway. Right? It's just a story. RIGHT?
*crickets*
Uh oh.
Ookz's ghost says bxzt. Buzz cut? I didn't even know you had HAIR!

AtlantisCOOL!!!!
Love it so far, even though Wingnut isn't here to enjoy it with me.

ScyllaParticipant"This is so hard!" Scylla wailed. "I can barely do it! Everyone's acting so sad when I kill someone else off and it makes me want to reanimate them!" She buried her face in her paws, tucking her tail around her. "I need someone to help me, but I can't have help because no one on the CB in this ski lodge lives near me!" She sighed heavily, shifting into a human form. Her one eye was dull with exhaustion. "How will I finish it?" she groaned.
-
Mischief MakerParticipantThe Mischief Maker slips into the room. A girl sits , there, exhausted looking and sad. Mischief Maker comes up to her and whispers.
"Don't give up. Thee are so many twists this story can take. This is something people like. People are watching and smling when you post the next section. There are double agents and kidnappings, Gelato suprise attacks, forceful charges, battles.
Don't give up! We like this story. Keep working."
Mischief Maker dissapears and hovers above her head. This one had talent. This one could write one of the best stories ever.
-
ElvinaParticipantDon't give up, Scylla, you are doing great. I know you can finish but don't let this fall in the dusty archives of forgotten ski lodges. I love this so far and I know that when I am killed I will not be mad at you. Keep it up!

Story SpinnerParticipantDay 7
The next morning carried on as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. Scylla made an announcement as usual. "Unfortunately it seems as though the entire Room Six was killed off. That's strange… Anyway, we'll reconfigure the rooms today. Come to the Grand Hall for the seating charts and breakfast." The PA system clicked and turned off. The guests roused, slowly making their way to the Hall. Scylla sat waiting at the head of the table as the CBers took their seats. Scylla no longer wore a hood, exposing her scars. Her long dark hair was in a braid. Seraia stood at the foot of Scylla's chair, shuffling some files. Scylla waved her hands for silence. "Before you begin eating, Seraia will assign rooms. Seraia, begin please." Seraia stepped up to a podium nearby. "Room 1 will consist of Elvina, Sir Galahad, and Ditty," she began. "Room 2 will consist of Balletandbow, Critic A, and Sloth. Room 3 will have Aquina, Volcano Flame, and Taxicab. Room 4 will house Abigail, Shifting Sands, and Meox. Room 5 will have Somebody, Cho, and Cyclone, and Room 6 will house Shadow Dragon, Fruit Basket, and… That's strange. The amount of survivors was supposed to divide evenly into six Rooms. Maybe I missed someone?" Seraia wandered confusedly off. Scylla took up conversation again. "Please note that if Seraia missed anyone and you are that person, you are assigned to Room 6. Breakfast may begin." Everyone began eating.
Scylla had declared that it was a free day, so naturally the murderer wanted to wreak havoc. It decided to start at the kitten adoption event. This was too sad to describe. In the end, Elsa was sitting on top of the curtains with all the kittens. A tortoiseshell one mewled quietly. Elsa's eyes stretched wide at the sight of the murderer tearing through the small adoption room. The kittens clung, frightened, to her as she waited for the murderer to find her. They padded more quietly now, gazing around the room. Elsa's muscles tightened as she readied herself to leap with the kittens to the escape hatch a yard away. The murderer walked ever closer. Desperate, she tossed the kittens one by one over to the hatch. They scrambled up it, tails waving. As she tossed the last one, the murderer looked over and Elsa's heart stopped. Fast as lightning, she delivered the last kitten up the hatch. The murderer leveled a gun at her, preparing to shoot, as she swished her tail for balance and leaped. She flung by herself over to a pedestal nearby, setting the murderer's pistol off but escaping safely. A smoking hole was burned into the wall where the solid gold bullet passed through. Elsa was acutely aware of the mewling kittens on the roof of the adoption center. Then she heard a high-pitched wail. A black and white kitten was crouching on the floor. She leaped down to it, transforming into a cat. She swept her tail protectively around it, hissing, as the murderer advanced. Using her body to guard the tiny kitten, she lashed out at the murderer, claws flashing in the light from the windows. Even in all her ferocity, Elsa was no match for the murderer. He/she leveled the pistol at her again, cocking it, and shot. Elsa was only aware of a fiery pain spreading like wildfire through her body, centered at her heart. Blood blossomed out of her as she lay, dying. The murderer's face showed no remorse as he/she kicked her body aside and shot the kitten. Elsa let out a heartrending cry before falling silent. Her flanks stilled, sinking into a puddle of her own blood.

ScyllaParticipantScylla shifted into semi human form and stood up, tail flicking. She dipped her head to Mischief Maker, tears suddenly welling in her eyes at the sight of the CBers gathered in her small office, willing her on. She smiled joyously, scars fading for a moment. Her emerald green eyes were full of love as she faxed about the office. "You have no idea how much your support means to me," she said quietly. "Especially your praise, Shadow. Coming from you, author of Hotel Le'Faye… Wow. Thanks so much." Scars returning, her expression darkened. "If only it was this easy…" Her voice trailed off.
-
CurioParticipant"If only what was this easy?" came a sudden voice from the holocomm set in the corner.
"Curio!" Scylla shouted. "Did you tap the security system so you could listen in? Is the rest of Team Gelato there?!"
"No and no. I didn't tap the system, Di did, and we've barricaded ourselves in the Gelato HQ's basement for the time being. We're alone. So what's not easy?"

CamelotScylla, you can do this. Although I'm dead in the story right now, I know you can keep going. I can tell through your writing that you are a very talented girl, and I'm cheering for you. Keep up your strength, and never give up!
-
ScyllaParticipantScylla looked over the office again, determination lit in her ravaged face. "I will continue," she announced. Her gaze clouded over. "I wonder if- Curio, quit spying! This is for Prismarine Guests' ears only!" Some static that no one had been aware of cracked faintly and stopped. Scylla relaxed. "I will continue," she repeated, a cold look passing over her. "On the morrow."
