MTYay! I thought I was the only one! I live on a farm too! *does a happy dance*
-
MiceareniceParticipantCool! What kinds of animals do you have?
-
Lemon banana Participant10
MTWe have goats, ducks, chickens, two dogs, one cat, steers (not that many though,) horses and I own two fish.
-
MiceareniceParticipantSo cool! Do you ride your horses much? I really want to get some horses; after going to summer camp I fell in love with them! It feels so great to be on top of such a tall animal!

MTYes. It does feel great to be on such a tall animal! You should get horses. They are definitely a big commitment though.

Wow! I've always wondered what that's like. I love your dogs' names, by the way. XD
1) Do you have any rabbits? What kind? Do you have any really, really fat ones that have tons of fur, like the Angoras?
2) Why would you need to raise geckos?
3) Have you ever named one of your geckos after the Geico gecko? (Just wondering)
4) What plants do you grow in your vegetable garden? My family has a garden, and we can our own tomato sauce and jelly. Do you have any fruit/nut trees?
Byte says deft. Do you mean daft or deaf?
Ultron: Both. He was glancing at Emerald.
Emerald: What?

MiceareniceParticipant1) We do have rabbits! I think they're mini-rexes, but I actually don't exactly know. Their fur isn't velvety, so maybe they're not mini-rexes. My rabbit's name is Taco, and he's a tortoise-shell color. He likes to be held like a baby, he actually won't go anywhere unless he's made sure that it smells like him, and is extremely picky about what he eats. One day, a storm came and his [outdoor] hutch blew over. He escaped, but we found him hopping around the patio that night! I was so glad he was okay.
2) Heh, heh. My gecko is just a pet for pleasure, and her name is Bumpy. But speaking of raising exotic animals for a farm, I would love have an emu or ostrich farm! I checked out a book for both topics, and it would be so much fun! (But lots of work.) And emus are relatively easy to keep after you get their pens set up. As more people look for healthier food choices, they find themselves looking at ostrich meat, which is really lean and it's all red meat!
3) Everybody asks me that question! Too funny. No, I haven't.
4) Let's see here…In the summer/spring we mainly grow peppers (red, green, and yellow bell peppers, jalapenoes, and banana peppers), corn, tomatoes, beets, radishes, squash, zucchinis, green beans, gold beans, peas, potatoes, carrots, and cucumbers. In the fall/winter season, we grow pumpkins, swiss chard, lettuce, cabbage, kale (a personal favorite among our two rabbits), and gourds.
