Mirax T.Participant12!
The Pulsar SkateName: Ariana Sonata
Age: 17
Species: Elf
Type: Dark Elf
Status: Slave of the dragons.
Appearance: I’ll do a picture.
Personality: She will always do the right thing, no matter what the cost. Ariana is fiercely loyal, and wants to help her people win the war. She used to be a very happy person. She keeps all her emotions bottled up on the inside.
Magic: She is naturally talented at wind magic, but has had very little actual training.
Magical Item(s): She carries a dagger small enough to fit in her boot that helps channel wind magic. She doesn’t know of it’s power, and keeps it secret from the dragons, since it is her only weapon.
Position in War: Ariana doesn’t really have one. She would love to fight for the Elves, but can’t because she’s serving the dragons. If she escapes, she will be a common soldier.
Other: She was captured by the dragons when she was seven years old. Her parents were slaughtered by them.
Does any one with a dragon charrie want to be Ariana’s owner? Sorry I was so late in posting my charrie. Life has been crazy busy.

EverywhereBy the way…
Because I was bored, I made Selene! The avatar creator I used didn't have everything I needed, but I did the best I could. I kind of like it, anyway.
-
LeeliParticipantWow! I really like it!

EverywhereUgh, guys, I'm sorry. My day was a lot more busy than I thought it would be… after my recital, we went to visit my dog. She's in the hospital. And then we had a guest over for dinner and he just left, and it's rather late now and my post is going to be horrible if I write it in my tired state. But I have a much easier day tomorrow, so I'll get it done then.
-
LeeliParticipantAaaaaawwwwwww! I'm so sorry about your dog! What's wrong with her? I Hope she gets better. (Huge dog fan xD) I love dogs! My dog got hit by a car once and lived though! She's really old. Her name is Abi and she's a yellow lab. I also have a black lab named Bell.

EverywhereOkay! The moment you've all been waiting for…
Selene~
What a day.
I lean over the edge of the reed fence that keeps us from falling off of the platform outside the tree hut, staring at the people milling around on the floor, but not really watching, just thinking. What a day.
It's frustration, I think, that is causing the problem. Frustration at today's leaders, today's stupid tactitians. No, no, Selene, we can't send you out onto the field, I mimic in my head. It's not like you're the best assassin we've got or anything. No, we're going to send this brand-new assassin on this very dangerous mission and call it a test when they'll so obviously fail and probably die. And then, of course, there are my parents: He's right, Selene, it's too dangerous for you. Obviously this newbie who is about a million times worse will get it right and you, who practices almost every waking hour, will fail miserably. Doesn't that make sense?
"I never get to do anything!" I say out loud, but the words, so softly spoken, are muffled by the musty air of the afternoon woods. No one will hear it. No one will tell me that they're sorry, no one will ever give me something to do, because I am the one and only heir to the Light Elves and the chance of me getting something wrong is too pressing for me to go out somewhere.
So I do what I do every day, every week, every month, every year.
I swing down the rope ladder, saddle up Lux (the stable boy is dreadfully slow), and go for a ride.
He knows the path so well I don't even have to hold the reins; I simply wrap my hands around his neck, lay my cheek on the rough fur, and sigh.
After a while, though, the adrenaline that comes from riding on Lux takes its toll, and I find myself sitting up straight and riding like in practice. The path that used to be weeds is now all dirt, thanks to Lux's trampling, and if I glance behind me I can see it billowing up in a cloud-like formation, bullied by the wind before drifting down again.
Lux stops in the customary resting place that we always stop at: a small, crysal-clear lake. I've never seen anyone else here and I never expect to; not many people go so far out in the uncharted woods, and anyway, it's been my private place for so long I could never imagine anyone else coming here. Sometimes I even swim. Today, though, I just pull off my boots and stick my feet into the water, causing tiny ripples as Lux wanders further, taking sips of water at points. After a little while, a few small fish come to investigate me, and I let them come. I feel much more at ease now.
After what may be an hour, I pull my boots back on and turn Lux towards home. He doesn't like that– he wants to keep riding until we reach the fence that signals the end of Kástro Elénchou, like we always do. But I don't want to, not today. Besides, the sun is already setting.
I leave Lux with the stable boy, for once, and make my way back to the palace-that-really-doesn't-look-like-one, my earlier comfort abandoned.
