I can't wait to see who everyone is……and if anyone will know who I am! This will be fun!-
I am Jimmy, the ferret. I am oathed to kill Arty who I usually call Fox because he is so infamous! I am in a story, so don't think I'm a weirdo or anything. Anyways, as I was saying, Arty is a fox. He is not sly at all. As I told him, "Fox, you are not sly, and I am not dumb," When he tried to lure me out of the hole once.
The hole is where I live in the Maplewoods. The Maplewoods is a very peaceful place, and there are so many creatures there, as well as ruthless villains such as Arty. My two best friends are Lily and Oliver. We all live in the hole.
The hole is a little hole underground. Kind of like a rabbits hole… only smaller. You can see it from the top of the ground, and if you peak in you might be able to see us. Arty once tried to dig into the hole to get us, but luckily we put rather hard stone all over the inside of the den, and when he scratched at it he hurt his paw and ran away crying. But he did come back.
Arty is a horrible beast. I sure hope that I will be able to slay him. I write this in the not-so-much-time-I-have before he gets here. Then I must run back to my hole and stay there until I can get out again. Arty said that he will stay hovering over the hole until I die of starvation, but I told him the Angels of God will watch over me-hopefully. Arty laughed at that.
So whenever I can find time to sneak out of the hole while Arty runs home crying again, I'll make sure to come to the Maplewood coffee shop to inform you a little bit more about what is going on. Until then, my friends, you can worry about my well-being. Until then, I shall lay in my den, worrying about my future. Until then, my friends. Until then. But then will be a short time, because Arty is easy to fool. LIke I said, he's not sly!
