The Scallop pulled into the harbor and I jumped out, leaving the crew to tie up. I ran down the dock, knocked off several people's hats, dodged around people; blocking them from getting past me, snatching fruit from baskets, and genrally being a nusiance. But, boy! was it good to be back with those little commoners! I hadn't seen a new face in at least four months.

Looking on impulse to my left, I saw two young women with cloths tied over thier eyes leaning against poles, who seemed to be watching me. I lightly tossed an apple core at one of them to see what they would do, and she extemley quickly pulled a knife from a sheath around her leg and sliced the core clean in two. Over the cloth, I saw one of her eyebrows raise. "Now, missy." she dralwed. "What made you think you needed to do that?"  

I took a step backward, and bumped into the other girl. She grabbed my hair and held it, tight.  I winced, but did nothing else. Slowly, my hand went to my side; and my sword hilt.  The woman behind me whispered in my ear, "Are you sure about that?" as she held up my blade-my blade!- in front of my face. "What-why-how-" I stammered, but the one in front shook her head at me. "You've picked the wrong gals to go chuckin' your apple cores at, missy." she said. I nodded and forced out an apology,  whlie the one in back tied my  hands together, cut off my hair at the shoulders, and pushed me off the dock. 

please someone help, i dont really want Captain Rae to drown.
