Lap-to-@GaredParticipantBA-BLAM!
Middle of Nowhere@Gared: Thanks! Stabilo pens sound pretty good! I'll make sure to give them a try.

Cho ChangParticipantUhhhh … Whatever's around the house? I'm really picky about the pencils/erasers I use though. And I usually use a slightly heavier paper than printing paper. It might be manga paper, I dunno.

GaredParticipantBack from the art store! Got some paper that is about five times as heavy as printer paper.

BluebirdParticipantWhat I use for outlining/line art: Sakura Pigma Micron Pens. They sound super fancy and expensive, but aren't really, and last a long time if you keep them right. They write very well- and, if you decide to buy them I recommend sizes 01, 03, and 05.
For coloring: Crayola colored pencils (why not?)
For shading: No.2 pencils. I do have a 2B and a 2H pencil, though.
For painting: I use Liquitex Basics for Acrylics, and an ancient thing of watercolor paint for watercolors. My grandma was into painting, so she has handed down her brushes and stuff to me.
For paper: Whatever is around, honestly.
