Sure. I can trust these
people. Because untrustworthy people always announce to the world
that you can't trust them. Yeah, nope. We ride back to where the bush
blew up. I slip off the horse and look at the injured girl. There's
nothing I can do to help her. I walk to the end of the clearing
that's closer to my house. I don't know what I was thinking, running
away from it. Once everybody is looking at the girl on the ground, I
slip onto the forest and take off running again. They can go faster
than me, but I've been exploring these woods ever since we moved
here. Also I got a bit of a head start. I can see my house. Finally.
I run to the back door and see a note in my mother's handwriting. She
must be out. I pull out my key, grab the note, and unlock the door.
Stepping inside, I can tell something is wrong. It's too… quiet.
That's what it is. In my house, there's almost always someone
shouting. Oh, there's the shout.

“Where is she?!” The
voice, coming from the living room, is one I don't know. Where is
who? Me? I go to the living room, and see my family grouped against
the wall. Standing over them are a bunch of official looking people.
They hear me come in. One of them grabs my arm. The words of the girl
on the horse flash through my mind. You can trust us, promise.
We're against the government, who have been bombing cities and towns
all around the USA. What if she
was right?

Someone asked for more people to get captured, so I set this up so Rose could get captured if someone else hasn't already. If someone has, I guess I'll beat the government people and find Blizzard and the others Also, TOP!

She's scarcely breathing now. I gulp hard, watching as Golddust wraps her and another bandage, the first one had already bled through. She was awake now, wincing at the pain. Then, slowly she staggered up. Dagger grabbed her and sat her back down. "Stay down. You just need tome to heal."

"But-but Arctica….the one trapped in the Springs…."

"She can wait." I said firmly.

Daggers eyes flickered in worry. "Actually I don't think she can. Her letter weaned urgent."

I swallowed hard. But we just can't leave her! "What if we form two groups? Dagger and I can look after her. You guys can…" 

I shuddered as Golddust said this then trailed off. "We can't do that alone! Most of us doesn't even have battle experience!" The one with the wings stated. 

"None of us has battle training." The girl with the fire stated coolly.
