I have a headcannon that Cassian and Jyn where swallowed by the light from the explosion, but the actual blast doesn't reach them. I know this isn't the actual case, but I can't bear knowing these wonderful charracters for such a short time.

Cassian wouldn't have made it anyways, Mira. K2 is the only other charrie I have ever cried for. No, I didn't cry for Jassian.
I saw it, and resigned myself to it.
But I've been replaying that last scene, where they're just standing there, in each others arms all day long.

I think we're going to see it on Monday, because my dad said it would be best to wait since it'll be crazy this weekend.
BUT I AM EXCITED!
I kinda/sorta wish Disney had just left the original 6 Star Wars movies as they were, because I grew up with just 6 and having one cranked out each year now is kind of shocking…but they are GOOD!
A few years back, my older sister was sitting on our swingset with her friend, and I was sitting with them, and they were debating what would happen since Disney had just bought Lucasfilms. My sister's friend said something along the lines of: "Oh, maybe they'll have Princess Leia sitting in a pink dress with a crystal ball and saying, like, 'Hello! How are you?' In a baby voice."
NOT.

Just saw it today! IT IS AWESOME!

But all the people died. I nearly cried when Jynn and Cassian? Is that his name? Stood at the horizon and hugged each other as the planet erupted around them. It was so sad….
They all HAD to die, though, because otherwise it wouldn't fit because of course they aren't in later movies…hmm, convienient, isn't it?

I wonder how they managed to get in the bit at the end with Princess Leia. I mean, she's OLD now, and the Leia didn't look like a stunt double…. It might've been, though.
And they only got in one lightsaber in the entire movie. Did anyone else think that that blind guy was gonna pull one out of his staff near the end, though? Me, my older brother and sister, my dad, and my younger brother (all of us that went to the movie) thought he would.

Yeah, my dad thinks she was done with CGI and the actual actress, but really, I have no idea … That didn't occur to me, but it would have been awesome!!! … And made him too OP.

My theory: That Rey is Luke's daughter.
Leans back, kicking feet up onto desk and folding hands begind her head.

Then bask in the glory of my half-baked idea.

I think that would be lazy storytelling, and too predictable. I really hope that Rey is a relative of Obi-Wan so that she and Kylo Ren can fall in love.
I hate romance, but it is a Star Wars movie and romance is inevitable. If it's inevitable, I think Kylo Ren and Rey would be interesting. Sort of a reverse Anakin and Padme

When Jyn and Casian died my sister kept on screaming "They blew up my ship!!!!" (Afterwards ofcourse). And I almost cried when the droid died (HE WAS SO FUNNY).

For me K2's death was the worst for the Disney Star Wars movies. Han was pretty sad though, AND CARRIE FISHER DIED!!!!! (translation if that didn't make sense: PRINCESS LEIA DIED IN REAL LIFE!!!!!)

Ok, so I saw it over break and it was pretty good. I liked K2 and the blind guy, and I got really excited when R2, 3PO, and Darth Vader came in. The weird thing was, I watched it literally the day Carrie Fisher died. And there Princess Leia was at the end, but still young. Strange.
