@Storm and Ember—Yeah, the graphics of Hype: the Time Quest were not very good in the way of characters, but considering the fact that they were based on construction toys… We of course are not going to have the charries look like that.
On the subject of game type, I thought that we could do some games in which you act out the story of Kyngdom with charries, and another that is what happens after the war is over, (I have ideas for that one), and another where you get to make your own charrie and explore Kyngdom. We could also consider making an online MMO. What does everyone think?

I also found the Wikia, and attempted to contribute, but I don't know how it works and my computer is terribly slow, so I will probably not be there much.

Main Questline characters/people who give you main quests & are part of the main questline:

All FAFA members will probably be mentioned or at least seen

However, Finny and Regina will be deeper in the plot line. How can we connect Power of Fin to the rest of the Power plotlines?
I imagine the game to have six chapters, each for a different Power. We should probably start with a more tame Power, like Sylvia.
Side Quest givers:
Windswift (If that's okay. It doesn't require a fleshed out character to give quests.)
Any OCs we can pull into play for Side Quests?
Side Quests will just be for loot and don't have any real plot purpose, if that's okay.

A few difficulties & things:
For one, do we hire mercenaries, companions etc, to help us? If so, Eli wants to help. Can any of us actually code? No offense, but I sure as heck can't make a game. I'm still on basic JavaScript, and I'm only learning coloring. Khan Academy is great for JavaScript, if you want to check that.

Lycaella's story could be a side quest, but I think we should decide on what kind of game we're making before we go into that.
I work almost exclusively with ink and paper. Not particularly helpful, that, but I will do what I can for story, scripts, art, and music. I also volunteer to find players for the beta if/when we get there.

'Tame Power' as in she's the kindest. It wouldn't be fair for the users to start out with Caelani, because Caelani would just rampage. Lunee is too mystic (Sylvia is too, I'm not trying to say she's not. She would still be very mystic/secretive. I'm not you, so I wouldn't know many of the things about her), and Ayearth is too underwater. We could start with Ecio, but he's….sorta buzzkill for the other Powers.

My dad can code pretty well. I can make basic games, having done so with Python.
I think the best time to work on this is during the summer, when we have tons of time.
@Icy Maybe I can be a Main questline giver for the attack will bring storyboard up later.

That's good, that you can code. And yeah, the summer will probably free us up to make some significant progress, although maybe some of the story ought to wait until we finish writing it.

Wait…are we keeping this online or are we gonna try and sell it to amazon/Itunes store? Either is fine by me!
Also, I thought maybe to start they get that letter from BIG, and can either except it or reject it, and both ways lead them to different parts. Like, one side you join BIG, then Catastrophe's army, and are basically evil. But if you decline, Windswift or Storm finds you and brings you to FaFa's base. And maybe Claaws can already be activated, along with Jaaws, and they can be in the background (Claaws as a panther) for some time so the player can get involved with FaFa and explore the minny games (maybe Bog and Burrow or the Badger Express) untill news comes back of one of the Powers (are we starting with Sylvia?) and they reveil themselves. Maybe Blazing Star comes and tells us that her Co. gardain was captured by BIG, (Catastrophe wont come in this untill the 3rd Power is activated) and Who maybe reports that to BIG. Another side quest can be the beginning of the Powers, were the player can either choose to be Claaws, Caelani, Eico, Ayearth, Sylvia, or Lunee and live through the first part of Kyndom, and the first war that was forgaten overtime. Ohhhh, and maybe a little ways in they can come across and old book and when they open it, it has some information on the Powers, and they can tell FaFa about it, and FaFa can join the powers against Catastrophe….and we'll see from there.
Yes, maybe we should do too? Like, the second one could be like Animal Jam, where you can do minni games and explore, or maybe we can incorperate that into the origonal? So maybe after they come in, they explore the base a little, then activate the next part by going somewhere…? Maybe meeting Claaws?
HELLO VIOLA! Same here, I can't code, and I can draw with a pencil, not a mouse. I think I'm gonna be better at writing the skript/plot.
Oh, and I agree this as a Summer thing. Highschool is verrrrry strict with their homework (and I'm about to fail a class….yikes!) and I've just started up sports again….maybe we can work out what we want to do, then actually start in the summer? Oh, my dad also bought Adobe for the theater we work at (HE USED MY SCHOOL ACOUT SO HE COULD GET IT CHEEP! But on the good side, that means I'm alowed to use it! :D) so I can start trying to draw digital. Oh, speeking of things to do….I FINALLY GET TO START STUDDYING FOR MY DRIVERS PERMIT! YEEEESSS!

@Claaws and Everyone: I don't think it is legal to use the Kyngdom idea and sell it without permission of the author, which is basically cricket media. Unless the entire cricket team agrees upon this, we can officially use the idea. I don't think it's a good idea to sell it for money. It's a group effort that anyone can join.
No matter how much I actually wish we could collaborate this and make it reality, life has a lot of rules to make it fair.
If only there was an official Cricket Con…
You're right, SW, Kyngdom does belong to Cricket Media, so you won't be able to sell your creation. But we encourage you to have fun collaborating on the planning.

2. We can't sell the game, but that doesn't mean we can't make it for free! *evil laughs* XD I don't actually know. I think it would technically be free whatever we did as long as we didn't sell it, though.

Well, we should also remember that we could have multiple people singing one song. You know, like harmonies, background noise (oohs and aahs), etc.

There is infinite space in/on the project. We can never have too many voice actors. And wasn't there one scene where shadow was captured along with a lot of other people, and she started singing, and everyone else sang along?

Well, long before shadow met Mina she was doing odd jobs for whoever payed her. She could bump into the player early on, and then when she begins working for the Resistance and making SOCS headlines and wanted posters, we'll see her more.

I think we should do it in Scratch because we have a shortage of coders and scratch is really easy so everyone could code.

It's true scratch could work, but it's kinda difficult to do 3D games on there, and there would have tobe a TON of sprites to make a simple animated movement.
Maybe we can each offer eachother ideas, and maybe the coders can code
BTW we need to have a common code such as C or C++ to work on(it dosen't limit to those languages though.) But some languages I may not be able to contribute to on this computer because it's a mac. Though, my dad has a Dell just in case if we choose an unavailable to apple lannguages 😉

I thought this could be a 3D action-adventure game with puzzles. We could distribute it for free on the Kyngdom fan forum that hasn't been made yet, but will be when I turn 13 (part of the forum creation rules)
How about we continue the discussion at least partially on the Kyngdom Wikia?
