Darkness fell over the Inktail household as CBer, CAPTCHA'S and AEs alike went to bed. Riverstone and Meadowpelt slept as sound as a rock, Temuri snored and Inktail sat, reading under the covers. A shadow passed through the house. Riverstone squealed. Flowerpelt, who slept in the same room, sat bolt upright. Inktail cocked her head to one side. Temuri snored on.

Flowerpelt covered her mouth with her hands and let out a muffled scream. Inktail let out of bed and ran into the room. Temuri snored on. Inktail screamed fully before sinking onto Riverstone's bed. Temuri snored on. Meadowpelt wept.

Riverstone was gone. 

Your gonna pay, Fudimo. I swear…

Calm, Meadowpelt.

Wait, what hpnd?

*rolls eyes*

Maybe if you didn't snore so loudly you would know!!! 

No! Noo! Return! Lee! Right! This! Instant! I knew you when you were still here, and you have no right, NO RIGHT, to do this! Stop it! Go away! Lee, we WILL rescue you. 

i smiled, sitting in my cell. fudimo thought he had mastered me, but he hadn't. i want to see how the story plays out. he will never control me with his fancy wands and incantations. no one can control fear.

“Kill me? Try.”

Fudimo thought for a moment. It wasn’t worth the risk, this person was not a regular human. He needed to research the consequences first.

Wiping her memory was the safest bet.

“Obliviate!” he swirled his wand as he screamed. Her eyes closed, but instead of appearing disoriented, she disappeared. Her memory had definitely been erased, but her magic had done something to send her back home.

Meanwhile, Cassia and Dain had sent out a message to all AEs that their sister was missing. They were pacing Lee’s bedroom, still freaking out with worry.

“She could be dead!” Cassia half screamed.

“Maybe it was my fault.”

“Maybe it was my fault!”

“Where could she be?”

There was a knock on the door and Wordsy came in.

“Dain?”

“Yeah?”

“I found a clue. Of where Lee is.”

He didn't have much to say. 

After all, normally AE balls and RPs weren't for him. He preferred to be alone, do whatever he wished. He hated to intrude on other's stories, leave them to their own. But this was something even he couldn't ignore. 

Black-tipped heels clicked on the pavement of a street as a violet-skinned AE wearing a sharp suit walked down the abandoned road, stopping only for a moment to glance down at a thin piece of wood on the ground. He picked it up, slowly twisting between his fingers, and for a heartbeat he saw a slender wand made from elder wood. Then he sighed and dropped it, staring up at the sky.

Truth be told, if Fudimo really had returned, he… wasn't sure what to make of it. Or what even to do.  

I walk into the room, barely restraining myself enough to knock. This is important. I feel my breath speed up, and tell myself it's because of the danger, and not because of the fact that I'm in the same room as… Never mind. Nonetheless, my burning cheeks aren't exactly from bursting into a psycho wizard's place earlier and finding a letter on the ground, I will say that much. I shake my head, trying to get rid of the thought. It doesn't matter right now. Finding Lee matters.

"Dain?" I say, immediately spotting him, "I found a clue." I hand him the letter, and stand by while he reads, breathlessly waiting for a reaction. Perhaps, as Booksy would say, it wasnt' the smartest thing to burst into the Fudimo's place. I had followed some screams, and was fully expecting to fight him and grab Lee. The room was empty when I walked in, but a piece of paper caught my eye. The letter. Magic… Lee… Mind control… Fudimo…? My head was swimming, and I turned around then and there to bring the note back. It was urgent, I knew it was. And I'm so, so glad I decided to pick it up.

"Wordsy…" Dain's voice is brimming with anxiety as he turnes to me, his eyes flashing as deep pools of fear. "Where did you find this?"
