I walked to the lava climbing wall, to climb it. It was my first time, I was kinda scared….. But after a lot of falling I got to the top. When I got to the topportunity I saw Dāi. 

"Hey Dex!" She waved up to me. "You wanna practice battling?" I jumped down, and landing on my feet, like always, since I am a demi-god of victory

"Sure, bet I will win!" I laughed.

"You always do, since your the son of Nike." She pointed out.

"But you are to daughter of Fortuna, so maybe it will balance out," I said.

I ran up to Dex. "DEX! YOU WANT TO BATTLE?!" I yelled.

"SURE!" He screamed and jumped down. "I think I'm gonna win," He boasted.

"You are the son of Nike…." I laughed.

"But you are the daughter of Fortuna, goddess of luck, so it will balance out hopefully," He said.  

Yuna~

I swear, every single time I walk up to the target range at Camp, I get stares. They all know me, and we're all friends, but I guess it's still hard for them to comprehend that an Aphrodite kid can still battle like other kids. But I start unpacking my knives, and everything resumes back to normal. I hit bullseyes every time, but I'm not suprised. I'm not bragging, but it's just I practice so much to the point of exhaustion. I guess growing up with a tiger aunt, I got used to trying my hardest and attempting to be the best.

Suddenly the announcement comes on for Capture the Flag. We all huddle around Chiron, and he tells us that Athena, Aphrodite, Demeter, and Hermes are all the blue team, and Apollo, Hephestus, Hades, Nike, and Posidon are the red team. 

I just silently cheer to myself because we have Athena kids as an ally, and because Ares kids aren't in this game.

This'll be fun. 

Shady~

I gather in with my group for capture the flag. Grinning, I start toying with a shadow between my fingers. The game was starting in the late afternoon, perfect for my powers. 

"Guys," I say, "let me guard the flag. I can use the shadows from the trees to fend off anyone who comes near." 

Cassidy~

Wonderful.  I force a smile as Yuna passes me, looking grateful.  She's happy, but only because Athena people are smart.

I follow at the back of the group.  They won't tell me what to do.  Why would they?  I'm Akhylys.  I think they're scared of me.  But then Jun calls me over, calling "Come over here, Cassidy!  You're blue team too, right?"

A smirk plays at the corner of my mouth as I jog over, dragging my ball-on-a-twenty-foot-chain thing behind me.  It almost trips trips Heather, and I call behind me, "Sorry!"  Honestly, I'm not sure if I'm serious.

We gather ourselves in a huge circle.  Everyone starts discussing ideas, except me.  Usually, in the other Capture the Flag games, I just hang around by my chain and wait for a group to pass by.  Of course, this isn't like my other groups.

"Cassidy, what do you want to do?" Helena asks, and I look up from the ground.  ". . . I can take left flank, I guess.  If it's okay with everyone.  Alone is alright."  I don't think anyone ahs taken left flank yet.

"You're on blue, right?" The girl nearest to me–they decided to employ a group to mess up and unnerve Red this time– asks.

I nod. "I don't want to do this job…" Is all I say.

"If you're with this segment, you must be pretty good at messing things up. C'mon!"

Capture the flag again. I'm considering where to hide this time when Anabeth Chase appears next to me. "Hey Ev!" She says enthusiastically.

"H-hi?" I managed to get out.

"We're on red! Wanna pair up? I run for it, you defend me?" She hardly gives me a chance to answer. "Great! I can't wait to start!" She sprints off to someone else, probably forming an interesting yet crazy plan. 

"She just doesn't know when to stop does she?" I hear a voice to my left say. Helena Carson is at my side, a daughter of Hades. I nod, acknowledging her. She eyes me. "And you don't talk much." Couldn't be more accurate than the Oracle of Delphi. I nod again. A small laugh echoes from the other side of the field. I look over. I wonder what they're doing.

I know it is late but could I PLEASE have a spot. You won't regret it.
