Day Two

The CBers woke to the chirping of birds. Shoshannah looked at her watch. "It's noon already?" She asked. Instantly everyone in the Blue room was out of bed. "Just kidding, but it's 10:00."

"I hope the Dragon Keeper hasn't started without us." Said AutumnArtist on the way to the main room.

Apparently dragon riding had not yet started, as the Dragon Keeper was waiting in the main room by another staircase that seemed to lead up to a balcony where everyone from the other rooms were having breakfast. The Blue Room residents went up and joined them.

After everyone was done, the Dargon Keeper led them out to a large open area where a group of dragons waited. They were only about the size of horses, not full grown, and, as the CBers soon noticed, acted more like puppies you could ride than scary monsters.

"These are the dragons we will be riding. They are still dragonets, so please don't be too harsh." The Dragon Keeper said, glancing at the Æs while saying the last part. "Please choose your dragons and come over here."

When everyone had chosen a dragon, and the remaining dragons had flown away, the Dragon Keeper got on the same dragon they had been on the first night. "So," they said, "first spent a few moments getting accustomed to your dragon, and then we will begin." 

The first part of the day past calmly, with the Dragon Keeper showing them how to get on there dragon and stay there, turn, go up and down, and how to get their dragon to use their breath weapon. (Icy's dragon made the target burst into chunks of ice)

All this time, Spyro had been calmly flying above the group, watching their progress. At the end of the lesson, while the Dragon Keeper was teaching everyone how to land their dragon, he flashed the group a quick superior look that no one saw, because they all where looking down.

Instantly, the murderer saw their chance. Everyone was looking down.

No one but the murderer and Spyro saw another dragon lunge out of a tree. No one but Spyro and the murderer saw the dragon slash Spyro's wings. Only the murderer saw Spyro fall from the sky as they slipped back into the crowd of CBers landing their dragons. But everyone was looking at Spyro when he hit the ground.

Curio was the first to rush over, with HAB close behind. But as soon as they got close, they saw it was too late. Spyro was dead.

The rest of the day past uneventfully, with nothing else major happening. Later, a small group of Æs went out looking for the dragons, and came back dissapointed, having found nothing.

As they slipped into their bed that night, the murderer thought to themself, That didn't feel quite like I thought it would.

Very sorry about the wait, I had writer's block and couldn't get past the first six sentences until just now. I will try to post more often from now on.
