SpokesperonParticipantYes, I know.
If royalty all agrees, then there will be an extended party, because that's basically who came in the first place. It's for royalty and some of the public organisations.
-
unsuspectingstrytllrParticipantah, that's too bad. My new charrie missed it.

KyngdomI'm standing outside the door of the castle, tapping on it with a piece of dynamite.
-
LillyParticipantThe Ball is lovely, especially the recession.
I'm talking with a friend, a dignity from the South, when I hear the faintest beeping noise. I excuse myself, and walk towards the noise.
But I should have known better.
Suddenly the entire wall blows up, and I feel so much debris and fire come upon me that I cannot breathe.
As if in slow motion, I am blasted back, and something smashes onto my lungs, along with other rubble suffocating me beneath.
Dying.
I've never thought of that word before. I never had worried about it. I was not a part of the Resistance. Or, I was, but I never had to fight in the front lines.
But yet, even joining them causes danger. Danger that I was lookign forward to. I'm not afraid to take the risk.
Dying.
It isn't as painful as some think. The explosion caused enough damage so that I can't feel anything. Oh how I hope that Karune would forgive me.
Darkness.
A last breath is exhaled as I float away in it.
But I can see the light at the end.
~~~~
Yep. She's gone. Sorry if it shocks any of you, especially Karune. Heather's author. Alexandria's author. And now me.
The funeral will be at the castle, and I think the Lamours will also offer a space for Heather's final resting place, as she was never properly burried, I don't believe.
-
shadowParticipantdeadDeath has decided I'll be great to help welcome people to her realm. I'm surprised when Lilly's smiling face appears.
"Hello Lilly. Welcome to the party."
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretWhat?! You too? Why is everybody dying? You know Karune is going to do first aid on you, right? CPR probably. *sighs* Would it be okay if she brought you back, maybe after a chat with shadow? It was a little out of the blue and I would be eternally grateful if it didn't have to end this way.
-
Author of LillyParticipantSorry. 🙁 She's gone.
I'm pretty sure it's from the explosives that A. (I don't know how to spell her name) Sol set up.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
Secret🙁 Would you at least tell me why you killed her off, if you won't bring her back?…
-
Author of LillyParticipantAdds to the changes. I think that it adds more drama to the story, and strengthens it, making it seem a bit more realistic to charries living for a long time through situations that most wouldn't live from.
-
Connie A.Participant14
Resistance BaseANOTHER FUNERAL?! HOW CAN WE SURVIVE ANOTHER ONE????? MIPPPPPPP!!!!! Sorry about that. Sorry that your charrie died. NOTE TO EVERYONE: Pleeeeeeeaaaaaase stop killing off your charries, especially for no darn reason! Sorry, Lilly, I get your reasoning, so it's fine BUT I AM IN PAIN AND AM DONE WITH DEATH! AAAGGGHHH! Sorry.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretI can understand that, but I also kind of have to agree with Connie. We've just had two other major deaths, those of Alexandria and shadow. The drama, realism, tragedy and change are there. A third death wasn't vitally necessary at the moment, and Lilly wasn't quite as developed a character, so her loss is overshadowed. Also, I don't expect you to have known this, but Karune and Lilly's relationship is something I wanted to spend a little more time with, and now exploring that isn't an option anymore. It's a thorn prick next to a spear thrust, but it's there.
-
Author of LillyParticipantI know…
But there wasn't really anything developing and I wasn't really involved, so…. Just thought I would add her to the list.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretIf you want to let Karune bring her back, we could try to do something about that.
-
shadow's authorParticipanteverywhereI'm sorry to everyone who is sad or frustrated about shadow's death, but I've actually been planning this for a long time. When shadow was at the Battle of Aslahari, I thought that was the right time for her to go… but then I missed her, so I used Jake to bring her back. When the Resistance began to collapse, I felt that shadow had become obsolete and uninportant to the story. I thought there should be a new charrie to take the spotlight, and I began crafting her death scene in the evenings after school. When Piper (or Mina) came in and shot shadow, I used that encounter to kill her off once and for all. Please don't try to bring her back. I did have a reason.
I'm sorry that I've upset you all so, but in the words of shadow of everywhere-
"Never forget."
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretWe were talking about bringing Lilly back, not shadow…? We do miss her, and we would love it if she miraculously revived once again, but it's not what this conversation was about. I don't know if you were just confused or were going to post this on a different thread or something, but although we're sad about it, I'm sure we'll all respect your wishes and let shadow stay dead.
-
Author of LillyParticipantNo, I'm sorry.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretOkay.
Let's see, how will Karune react… Denial, of course; that would be the CPR. Anger; Mr. Sol might be in trouble. Bargaining; she might try to get in touch with Brynn. Depression; that's going to be ugly. Acceptance; she'll slowly start to pull it all back together after a long, long time.
Hey, by the way, let's get back on the Power of Hoof. Where in Kyngdom is Blazing Star?
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretAlso, Lilly's author, and I guess everyone else too, if you feel like something's not working out with your charrie, you could always say something about it and try to fix it with my/our help instead of just leaving or killing the charrie off.
-
Author of LillyParticipantNo, it's fine. I have too many charries anyway, and Lilly would add to the drama.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretYes, it's all right. Just for future reference or what-have-you.
Audacissimus SolParticipantAgeless
KyngdomWait. Back up to the scene of Lilly Pur Lamour's death. I was supposed to die so I could make a new charrie. And I don't regret that. Technically, the way I pictured my charrie, she's evil. So I wanted to make a new one.
-
Well Lilly died tooParticipant -
BlehParticipantWell, if you wanted to die you should have written something where she dies.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretI think I have a solution. Please tell me if my next RP is out of line.
-
Connie A.Participant14
Resistance BaseUmmm…. you can just keep RPing that you died. Everything that's happened on this thread was just confusion about Lilly's death, no one else was RPing. Go on, then.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretActually, I just posted an RP that can be altered as needed to solve the problem with no mess.
SecretKarune~
No.
No.
She can't be dead.
I pull the
rubble off of where the corner of her dress is sticking out, and there
she is, eyes closed, smiling. Not breathing. Others gather around us, so
many hands reaching out, so many voices going all at once, but they
fade quickly from my attention."Lilly?!" I say, lifting her up.
No response. I lay her gently on the floor and clutch my head, trying to
remember what to do. CPR, I think.I breathe into her crushed
lungs and pound at her solar plexus until my vision blurs. She's not
dead. She's not dead. She isn't dead!But there she lies, unmoving, growing cool. I stare at her, willing her to move. Someone takes my arm and leads me away.
No.
"What are you doing?" I yell suddenly, pulling my hand away from their grasp. They stumble, startled. I am engulfed in fury.
"That's
my sister there!" I point before I look. They're lifting her up,
carrying her away. No one takes my sister away. I run at them, but my
damned skirt trips me up and I am being forcibly held now, they have me
and I tear away and leap through the hole in the wall. Through the
sudden darkness of the outdoors, I see someone running not far off.
They're holding a remote.Thwack!
I stare at the dart
protruding from the back of the person lying bloodied and bruised on
the grass in front of me. I don't know how I got here. I look closer.
It's the one who was running away…?I feel a stab of pain in my
arm, and look down to see another dart sticking out of it, identical to
the first. The details are lost in the nighttime gloom, and then
everything is. I realize what is happening and decide not to fight. I
can fix it. I let my body slump to the ground and my mind drift into
unconsciousness.Who knew they would tranquilize me.
