BookwormParticipantSomething
EarthI was born on October 25, so my birthstone is a tourmaline and my birth flower is a marigold. Yay, those are both so pretty! Another October birthstone is an opal, which is one of my favorite gems.

Sprocket ParticipantI'm another April child…I've always thought that diamonds were OK, but I kinda wish I had something a bit more…exotic. Sweet pea is also another April birth flower.

Oregonpearl, rose,
which does not exactly fit me except that red is my favorite color.
-
KtGParticipantHmmmmm…. I am October, but I am an opal. Maybe there are two different versions of birthstones? And yay! Marigolds! Golden happiness!
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretYes, it seems there are actually several different stones and flowers for each month.

Emmilvien*Silently reads personality for May* nope, not me. Wait, that's May? But I'm like the total opposite of that! Yeah. May 26. I like the flower though. Sounds like my name.

SavvyParticipanthello fellow august people! Poppy wow! I love a musician called Poppy so I got excited with that aha. Peridot is okay, not my favorite gen stone but oh well!

the Wood, OmniverseMay. Emerald and Lily. My Zodiac is Ox.
Speaking of which, has anyone read The Zodiac Legacy?

The RiddlerParticipantPeridot guyyyssss!!! I'm surprised I've seen so many August birthdays on here, usually I don't see many. Also I find it really funny when people call each other twins, because I have a twin brother and he looks nothing like me XD
-
LeeliParticipantOh, I just found out that Carnation is another January birth flower. And Narcissis and Poinsetta are also December flowers.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretOkay, so it turns out there are multiple flowers and stones for every month. Here's what I've found so far:
Flowers–
January: Carnation, snowdrop.
February: Violet, primrose, iris.
March: Jonquil, narcissus, daffodil.
April: Sweet pea, daisy.
May: Lily, lily of the valley, hawthorn.
June: Rose, honeysuckle.
July: Delphinium, larkspur, water lily.
August: Gladiolus, poppy.
September: Aster (Michaelmas daisy), morning glory.
October: Marigold (calendula or tagete), cosmos.
November: Chrysanthemum, peony.
December: Narcissus, poinsettia, holly.
Stones–
January: Garnet, serpent stone, zircon.
February: Amethyst, bloodstone, hyacinth.
March: Aquamarine, jasper, jade, gold Siva-linga.
April: Diamond, clear quartz, sapphire.
May: Emerald, chrysoprase, chalcedony.
June: Pearl, moonstone, alexandrite, agate.
July: Ruby, onyx, carnelian.
August: Peridot, topaz, sardonyx.
September: Sapphire, lapis lazuli, zircon.
October: Opal, tourmaline, beryl, coral.
November: Citrine, topaz, cat's-eye.
December: Turquoise, tanzanite, zircon, onyx, lapis lazuli.
So yeah. December has a zillion stones. I'm not particularly satisfied with my birth flower; they're all basically just different varieties of the same thing. But at least one of my alternate birthstone's Steven Universe gem isn't a total psychopath, so that's something. I'm March, btw.

The Periodic TableYay! Mine are all blue! Stones AND flowers!
-
VyoletteParticipant13
WisconsinSweet Peas are pinkish white, right? Other wise both my stones and flowers would be white.
-
Viola?ParticipantSecret
SecretI think sweet peas can be a variety of colors, but I know they come in both pink and white.
*one Google image search later*
Yes, sweet peas can be pink, white, blue, purple, orange, red or green.
