Chapter 2: Selene

Selene sat across from Beatrix, munching on her bag of chips.  She looked at Beatrix, remembring she had promised to change, but that had been a lire. After the fight with Lily, Beatrix had started teasing Hannah  about the state of her cloths.  

Hannah cloths looked terrible, but it wasn't her fault her family was poor. Yet, although Selene believed looks didn't matter she had joined in, in the teasing. She didn't know why, but she guessed she didn't want to lose Beatrix. She had almost lost Beatrix, almost lost the fun they had together. 

She knew Beatrix wouldn't leave her, but they seemed completly oppoiste. Selene didn't like to tease people, but Beatrix did.  Beatrix idea of "fun" at recees  was pushing people out of trees and teasing people, while Selene would rather play tag, or talk. So maybe there would come a day when Beatrix would leave, but that would never happen if they had almost everything in common.

Part two or the rest of chapter 2

Grace came over, angry plastered on her face. She was a red-headed girl with a strong built body. Haley……..

[the poor kid? what name did i give her . XD]

must of told Grace that beatrix and me had been teasing her though Selene,sighing. She felt guilty about teasing, but she knew Betarix didn't. 

Eva, Grace's BBf followed followed behind her. She looked like a minion following her master, not a BFF following her BFF. She had long brown hair, and green eyes. 

Grace arrived were Selene and Beatrix were siting. "You Don't t tease people" 

Selene snorted. Although she knew that statement was true she felt like Grace was saying it like Grace was her mom.

"Your not my mom" said Beatrix, menacingly.

"I never said I was!' yelled Grace, even anger than before. 

"Who told you we teaseed people. It could of been a lie" asked Beatrix. 

"Oh come on Beatrix…everyone knows…"

"Knows what?" asked Beatrix, suddenly, very, very, intersted. 

Grace shook her head. "Nevermind that."

"Knows-Who told you that we were teasing people? they could of been lying?"

"Haley…I found her crying. She told me what happened!"

Selene looked guilty at Haley. She didn't like making people cry.

"Oh Haley!!, all get that rascal!!" spat Beatrix, glaring at Haley was at the back of the room. 

"She's not a rascal! and it's mean to tease people Beatrix!" squeaked Eva.

"Says who? Anyhow, what are you going to do about it?" asked Beatrix, glaring at Grace.

"Tell the teacher" said Grace.

Fear filled Selene. She couldn't get in trouble or worse yet what if she got a referal!? "Please don't! We'll aplogize to haley!" She shouted, frantically.

Betarix looked over at Selene, gaze determined. "NO! Were not going to aplogize!"

"But-" 

Beatrix leaned over to Selene. "I'll get us out of this one" she whisper in her ear.

The rest of chapter two.

"I'll get us out of this one," she whispered in her ear.

Selene shook her head. They shouldn't lie. They should apologize, save them a referal, most importantly though it was the right thing to do. If she did apologize would sunny hate her, though? Selene stayed in her seat, but slowly she got up. Apologizing would be the right thing to do.

Beatrix grabbed her hand. "Don't" she growled.

"Why not? Why not aplogize? We did something wrong" she shot back.

"Well….they'll win, defeat us" Beatrix said, glancing over at Grace and Eva.

How dose apologizing have anything to do with winning or beginging defeated? wondered Selene, but obediently she sat, hating herslf. If she apologized would she lose Beatrix? Better safe than sorry. 

"Okay then…..it's clear you'r not going to apologize, so I guess I have to tell the teacher!" said Grace, starting to walked towards the teacher.

"Tattletail" muttered Beatrix.

Selene didn't think Grace was a tattletail, just doing the right thing. She didn't voice her opinion, though.

In a few moments the teacher came over. She was a plump women with aburn hair, and blue eyes.

Fear shot through Selene. If I stayed with Lily I wouldn't of gotten in trouble thought Selene, glumly.

"No whoever told you that is lying." said Beatrix, glancing over at grace, angerly. She was lying because she didn't see a promblem with what her and Selene did. 

The teacher looked at Beatrix, spectically. Pherphas suspecting Beatrix's lie. 

"We were complimenting her. Thats what really happened." added Beatrix, innocently.  

"Then why was she crying?" asked the teacher, puzzled. 

"Maybe she can't take a compliment." said Beatrix, shrugging. 

"I doubt that." said the teacher. "Haley!" called the teacher, beckoning haley over.

Haley scrampered over, anxouisly. "Yes?"

"Why were you crying?"

Beatrix glared at Haley. She could control haley. Don't you dare tell the truth she mouthed to Haley.

Haley looked scared.  "She uh…no….uh I was crying cause my brother was mean to me this morning" 

The teacher nodded. "You may leave Beatrix and Selene. Haley, i'd like to talk with you some more."

Beatrix turned around and left. Selene followed, breathing heavly. 

Beatrix turned to Selene. "Told you I could get us out of that. No need to be afeard"

"I wasn't" said Selene, digently.

Chapter four: Lily. i need feedback on this chapter. Criztem welcome. I feel like I could of made it better..so yeah feedback plz. 

 

Lily sat on a swing, legs dangling, head down in sadness. She had, had Selene, but now she had lost her. Selene was gone. Selene is-did chose the wrong person to hang out with thought, Lily, sadly. She knew it wasn't her job to sort out the wrong sort from the right sort, but it seemed Beatrx fell into the wrong sort without question. 

 

Someone sat in the swing next to her. She looked up, surprised. Someone had borthered to sit next to her?! She had no friends, and she was the most upopular kid in her class. 

It was a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a blue shirt. She had never seen this boy before. 

 

"You look sad. What's the matter?" the boy said, looking concerned. 

 

Lily was even more surprised. She didn't even know this boy and he was concerned about her! She wasn't going to tell him what the matter was, though. He was a stranger. "Not-thing. Havn't se-en you before" Lily felt blood rushed to her cheeks. Why was am I blushing? Why am I stammering? wonder Lily, confuzzled. 

 

The boy shook his head. "You don't look okay or sound okay, but I won't be pushy. You don't have to tell me.  Anyways, I'm new. I'm in 5th grade and my names Ethan"

 

"I'm in sixth." said Lily, blushing a little, glee filled her.  Why am I blushing? she wondered.  This boy seemed nice and she was glad he was clost her grade. 

 

"Cool….What's sixth grade like?" 

 

LIly corked her head to the side. "Why?" 

 

Ethan shrugged. "My brother says it terrible, and if it is I want to pephare. Bring my water powers you know, to defend my self from the terriblness" 

 

Lily laughed. "Sixth grade is terrible. Wish I had waterpowers for 6th grade, but no-one ever  warned me about the terriblness" said Lily, half joking, half serouis.  A question bubbled into her mind. "Who-" 

 

"Oh why?" said Ethan, forhead srunched up in puzzlement. 

 

Lily almost burst out laughing. How could Ethan think Sixth grade was full of unicorns and all things happy?  "I have no friends. My friend ditched me for a bully." Lily stopped. Why was she telling him about her troubles? She barely knew him, yet something made her want to tell him.

 

"Is that why your sad?" asked Ethan, conerned.

 

"Yup"

 

" I can fix your friend promblem."  said Ethan, excited. 

 

"Really? How?" said Lily, eargerly. 

 

Ethan nodded. "Want to be friends?" he asked, holding out his hand to shake for her to shake.

 

Liy was surprised. She hadn't excepted that to be his solution to her promblem, but it did seem like a good one. She wanted to know more about Ethan and hang out with him. "Sure!" she said, blushing. Why am I blushing she wondered. She looked at his hand. She raised her hand in the air. "Want to do it the more morden way? Handshake are kind of old, wanna do a highfive instead?" 

 

Ethan laughed. "Okay" he cleared his throat. "By highfiving we commite to being friends" he said, mock serouisly, but there wa serouisness in his eyes. 

 

Lily laughed. "You'r funny. Okay" 

 

"You too" said ethan. 

 

Lily blushed. "Let's highfive, already.

 

And they highfived.

Chapter five: Lily

Lily and Ethan chatted for a bit more, until the bell rung.  Lily jumped off the swings, joy soaring inside her. She was glad Ethan and her were friends. He was nice boy and funny too. 

She walked Ethan back to his hall. "Whats your favorite color?" asked Lily when they were close to the hall. 

"Green" answered Ethan, absentmidly. Lily wondered what he was distracted by. 

They arrived. Lily wanted to thank him for siting next to her on the swing, for talking to her, and making her laugh. He didn't have  to, but  she couldnt put it into words. "See you" said lily, instead as Ehtan started down the hall.   

Ethan turned around. "See you" he called back, as he walked backwards down the hall.

Why is he walking down the hall backwards. Its kinda funny actually wondered Lily, stiling a laugh as he almost banged into a girl. 

Ethan tripped and fell on his butt.

Lily burst out laughing. She tried to stop, but she couldn't. "You okay!"

Ethan got up, laughing. "I'm okay" he said, smiling. 

"You shouldn't walk backwards" said lily, playfully. She really dicn't mind if he walked backwards, sideways or whatever but she would wonder why. 

"But it's fun" called Ethan.

Lily laughed and turned around.

Lily skippeed towards her hall, feeling as light as air. She had made a new friend! She didn't need Selene now….or did she? 

Lily still messed her. The days when they would talk, laughing. Selene had seemed so carefree  when she had been Lily's friend, but who know if she was still the same girl lily had known. Who knew if Beatrix had changed her into something unrezinable, or a rotten bully?  Lily sighed.

Soon she arrived at the classroom door. Peeking in, she realized everyone except her was in the classroom. I hope class didn't start yet Thought lily, slightly worried. 

She knocked She hoped Selene didn't answer the door…that would be awkard. 

No-one answered.

She knocked twice, three, four times until someone answered. The door ung open, revealing……Selene! standing in front of her. 

Just her luck!

"you'r late" said Selene, looking at her feet.

"yeah so? You'r early" 

"Why are you late? 

 

I'll write tommorrow …eh maybe friday actually
